  • @MrSicko2 Well, an Indian is another term for INDIGENOUS, thus making you an Indian from the Americas...Native American/Native Indian. Native themselves call each other) Indian to by the way, but I'm guessing you don't right?. New research is coming about that states INDIANS did not come from the north but from the south, look it up. Anyhow, i never said you're Mexican. I said many Mexicans and Native INDIANS have the same blood, DNA proves such facts.

  • dine nation

  • im sorry but your not suppose to record video of them dancing, its considered disrespectful to the native people

  • heeeyyychhhaa!.....reminds me of the Apache Club back at Riverside Indian Skoo!....Whooooo! Love them guys!

  • NATIVE AMERICAN BROTHERHOOD!!!

  • they are missing 1

  • Damn....JTJ is amazing...that his songs cud put me to sleep and relax!! =)

  • yep. tell em... lol

  • @ AWahkinney , dats true, but da ones dat aren't supposed to b recorded r from real ceremonies dat happen n private, dis gathering u see ain't a ceremony, just an event dat they where asked to dance @, there r some dat travel like this yet dey respect da songs and sing da right songs, those r da Apaches dat do have respect for their culturen nd there r those dat don't respect da elders nd do record r take pics.......

  • don't matter,on da real, u must not know ur culture as well,no respect for culture also, an Apache that goes to ceremonies would know da difference, not so loafer from da street dat just see's them at a yard sale...

  • singer is a joke, can sing patty cake and his dancers will dance to it,guy doesn't know what culture is he just sings all sorts of songs dat do not pertain to a real Apache crown dancing song, what a fluke...these dancers aren't real Apache dancers, their dancing is a joke...

  • @ohhenrysdabomb where u from?

  • Out of respect... Love the song and the ceremony but I was always told that this sacred ceremony was not to be filmed or photographed... I have always respected this way and I don't know if this ceremony should be posted. Anyway, great video. "RESPECT MOTHER EARTH, ALL LIFE IS SACRED"

  • @aperfectcircle1400 Thats who i thought it was never knew though there was white mountain Apache in New Mexico to

  • This is the Mescalero tribe from the Sierra Blanca (White Mountains) in New Mexico. A very beautiful piece of land.

  • I loved watching the Apache boys dance at our school. Chemawa indian school FTW.

  • navajo and apache are the same people, the anasazi ( ana' yazzie-"little enemies") called us apache a thousand years ago this name means enemy also. the spanish who arrived in 1540 called the ones living on top of the colorado plateu "navaha", which means knife or throat cutter.

  • im apache and danceing like that is realy hard i danced three times for my dad and man i got tired

  • @skenton1 That's awesome though. Did you grow up learning? I'm part Apache myself and want to get more involved with my roots as much as possible and learn everything that I can. Please let me know if there's any tips you can give me on anything you know!

  • i like apaches more than i like navajos!!!

  • navahos are apaches as well

  • why so? if u don't mind me asking

  • actually the apaches were navajo they were the tribal warriors. when the navajo people turned to a peaceful group the warroirs left and they are now the modern apache

  • @900slater u can go to hell and burn there u useless peice of shit if i new who u were then i would kill u myself and dump ur body in a ditch

  • con las tablitas todavia que bonito lindo is great people

  • just love watching those videos:) they are so good dancers and love the coloures and the music

  • my friend brody is in this group somewhere! i love watching this!

  • I love watching the crown dancer's with their tradtions and colours beautifull to watch would love to see it for real some time

  • those guys look very cool

  • I,m glad to find this. my family and i were there that night the Apache dancers were great. my daughters got to get on stage and dance with the Alaskan dancers.

  • i miss the ft. apache rez so much!!!! good dancing, guys!

  • The song is not sung by Joe Tohnoie But by another person. Joe is in violation of fraud and copy right violation. He just lip sings. What a fraud rip off.

  • The world is not ready to know of the Spirits, teach our people first our culture is dying and most whites cant handle knowing of the Spirits

  • sk8rgrl10117 They are White Mountain Apache crown dancers from Whiteriver Arizona.

  • hi there.. this is very cool.. I'm Coast Salish.

  • Living in Whiteriver was the best.

  • LOL reading the comments and it's pretty sad. This and that just because these guys aren't afraid to show the world that we still exist! i for one am glad to have something to watch when i miss my home. Hawaii doesn't have anything and i find myself missing home, my family, the reservation, KNNB, Bashas', Alchesay. WMAT ferr life man! just be happy that this is even making it on youtube to show everyone what we're made of! Cheap guy, huh? US Navy for now But WMAT from blood, heart soul and body

  • I went there, i'm not Apache though. Strong tribe, beautiful people.....BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

  • Its good to see the apaches are keeping their traditions strong-It's a beautiful strong culture from what i've witnessed-by having friends from both White mtns and San Carlos-beautiful rez's as well!! I realize the significance of not videotaping-but I also see the importance of "teaching" to the ignorant and uneducated people as well. It's good to see the young people carrying on your traditions! LMAO to jparsizzle-thats def. apache rez lingo!!

  • the last time i seen these crown dancers and Joe Tohonnie Jr was in a parade and at my house getting some water

  • what do u know, this might b just a show, but it's to show non-natives the native culture, so they won't b so ignorant. Besides, there's some ceremonies that r performed that haven't been seen by non-native eyes, that r sacred!!!

  • I always thought the crown dancers were one of those ceremonies. I think the San Carlos Apache only bring the crown dancers out on the reservation. And almost always at night. San Carlos Apache dance way harder than this, prolly cause they were next to the fire though, pumps you up.

  • Hell yea!! Patcheez are tha shit!!!

those are my homies!!! Crown dancerz are the coolest, Much Native Love~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3

  • fuck you haters and all the haters who left a comment about the apache I'm DINE/APACHE BITCH'S

  • much love to all my apache brothers and sisters and all indian cousins

  • MMMWWAAAA HHHAAAA HHAAA HAA!!! Are you serious?! I don't know where you grew up, but every rez I've been on chidee is like fugn breathing. Stay off the drugs kid, they're making you "somehow".....True Natives....this guy..

  • Cool! Preserved for posterity.

    This is really cool.

  • What do you mean "these days"? People been talkin shit about each other since sign language. But you make a good point. Natives have enough haters without us hating on one another....Hope my comment didn't make anyone cry, Hmmm.....fuck that, actually i really don't care....

  • I am WMA, same tribe, and we have excellent dancers. Wonder what our ancestors would say about this type of exhibition. And no I wouldn't have a problem saying that to thier faces.

  • these are all four clowns...if your gonna do something you should do it right. don't do it half-assed expecting the ignorance of the crowd to let you get lazy or improvise. represent to the fullest and take pride.should take the white mt. off and replace it with rent-a-dancers

  • shut the fuck up.. you sound like a mufuckin clown! you obviosly do not know shit about crown dancing

  • LMMFAO...you are obviously one of the clowns or one of the ignorant. I know my shit and i wasn't impressed...

  • LMAO he's not even singing a apache song for those dancers........NAVAJO songs are not ment to be sung for these dancers!!!!!!!!!

  • this is the first time i've seen three dancer. usually, there are 4 to 5 dancers. one dancer for each direction (north, south, east, west) and the clown who is the messenger. I think joe is half navajo as well so.

  • he y do u any apache ppl kno if they whip ppl bcuz that is what i hear fr sum ppl so can some one tell me

  • the he y is -hey-

  • yeah the Dine' scared dancers (Yei-bi-cheii)can not be recorded bcuz they r gods and elements & if sumone record them they might get sick or some thing will to them in their life. Apache im not sure im just a Dine'

  • You know this is Ok as long as you know in your hart what you are. The crown dance is Ok for people to see, as most of our kids don't even know what it is. And what ever part of mother earth you come from show the world as they may learn somthing from us. Our children are to busy playing video games. So as an elder I say it is Ok.

  • what does the dance mean? be good if an Apache fill me in instead of a white dude...no offence to the the white dudes..haha. pCe!@ ya

  • On the real it doesn't matter man...we both Apache!!! And it isn't your group or mine its his!!! Ask Joe Tohonnie why not this guy who posted it!! He probably doesn't know!!! Reguardless They dance good!!!

  • Sorry guys I have no idea how many there are suppose to be.. Iam not Apache.. Iam Seminole,Creek,Sioux and Cherokee..

  • @Sleepmaster49 Theres supposed to be 5 of them...at Sunrise Ceremonies there are 5 of them (4 Crown and 1 Clown: the one in white hood.) Clown is the most sacred of them. Just an FYI :) I am Cherokee, San Carlos and Yaqui.

  • Hahahahaha ApacheBlood have you ever crown danced? I know what I'm talking about!!! And yes in ceremony, 4 crown dancers, and 1 clown or 2 if its a double dance!!! This is performance "Stupid"!!! Bet if you asked Joe Tohonnie He'd tell you the same!!!So stop Bitchin!!! You'd know that if you knew what you were talkin about!!!

  • Usually you have 4 crown dancers and 1 clown!!! But the clown is he one who really matters, and you have to have at least 2 crown dancers with him. So thats why its like that. Same with the other video, it has 3 crown dnacers!!!

  • Pure ownage. Saw them at Gathering in Albuquerque.. lol. Cememonial in Gallup.. and at the Navajo Nation Parade.

  • Wonderful video!

  • Really cool. Saw them at the cermonial in Gallup
