  • This is not a german march people get an education you stupid neo nazis.

  • @luigi32791 you are well right. this is an hollywood invention.

  • The atom bomb was developed for use against the Nazis. They were flattened, crushed, ground up, and turned into manure before it could be dropped on them, unfortunately. If only Berlin, Hamburg, ... had been turned into radioactive ash, the Third Reich's War against humanity would have been memorialized for the next 30,000 years. Please give us another chance to do it.

  • @hydroflight1 my ancestors are from Hamburg...I don't think so sir

  • Eisenhower is one of many examples of how much better our Germans are than your Germans.

  • @hydroflight1 Germans are germans. Typical American, assuming ownership of other people.

  • Stop claiming this as a Luftwaffe March... it was composed by Rod Goodwin.

  • I had a friend and co-worker who served in the Luftwaffe in WWII and he told me that He never heard the march until the movie "Battle of Bitiian" came out. There was a U-Boot man who said that when they returned to Lorient the band would be playing the same tune as the "Star Spangeled Banner" but it was a beer drinking song.

  • This is genuine German March and heard before WWII.

Goodwin may have used the tune for his composition.

Lot of classical composers used this methode.

    Igor Moisseeff

  • この音楽、大好きです。

    ありがとう

  • The tune is Aces High by Ron Goodwin :D

    Now everyone is alittle wiser.

  • germany basically had over half the damn world against them.

  • The RAF does not have an eagle, the bird is a sh**e hawk as anyone will tell you

  • battle of britain was okay movie.

  • You see that Falcon in the background on the flag it looks almost the same as the RAF's Eagle as it's wings spread out.

  • @SR71ABCD Sorry, that is an Eagle! "Luftwaffeadler" to be correct.

    Dale in AL

  • TDW you are correct. This "Ace High" March was composed by a Brit ! It is NOT German.

  • This isn't a germam march,it was composed by ron goodwin for the film 'battle of britain'

  • @ThirdDegreeWitch

It's truly german military march "Luftwaffe march " !! :D

  • soviet gays

  • I liked this music in the Movie..Battle of Britian

  • heil die Luftwaffe!

    heil die Kriegsmarine!

    heil der Wehrmacht!

  • @sonic187sq But absolutely no heil to Hitler.

  • Wonderful march!very impressive for me.

I want to buy the CD, included this performance.

If anyone knows, please tell me this CD's title...

    from Japan

  • goodwin. british composer. british tune. works so well for the germans.

  • @andromidia1 In all honesty British are German by nature (Saxons were Germanic, history tells of huge influence, etc.). Thus why the languages are so similar among other things.

  • Have to say it. Most 3rd Reich martial music sux and is not memorable. Not so this piece. It has to be my favourite march written for this period. Very inspiring...for a lost, pathetic cause...to bad it's German and not say, Brittish...or Russian...or anyone else worth admiring.

  • So then why do you listen to it, I think no one cares. Deutschland uber alles

  • @Emeraldknife What's not to be admired of the Germans? Don't say you think of them just as Nazis, please. That was their government. Not all American soldiers were Capitalists, not all Russian soldiers were Communists, and not all German soldiers were Nazis. Here's something to admire about the Germans: Their fighting spirit. They held off for 6+ years the combined armies of 4 of the major countries of the day on 3 different fronts and even knocked one out of the fight. That's something.

  • To put in some information on this discussion I read about Barbarossa, Hitler invaded Russia out of sheer hatred and the desire to enslave and slaughter the assorted Slavic races, nothing was particularly logical about it.

  • @napoleon651 Yea, Hitler wasn't really thinking when he did that. It was a really stupid move. Russia was pretty neutral, possibly even pro-German before then and posed no real thread strategically. What he should have done, and I speak from a general's point of view and not what I think it right, was keep his armies around to finally invade England, once they were knocked out, then he could move his armies around towards the Russians if he still really wanted to invade them.

  • Are you insane? Russia was pro-German? Stalin's long range plan for WWII begun as early as 1936 was for the western Allies and Germans to grind each other down for a few years and then his Red Army would march in by attacking the Third Reich and conquer the entire continent.

  • @JimmySmers I said might have even been pro-German. There was good evidence, Russia helped Germany re-strengthen the luftwaffe by training German pilots in Russia so that the Allied commissions wouldn't strike Germany down for it. Although I belief the insane remark wasn't very needed friend, save that titles for the likes of Hitler and other would-be world leaders.

  • Stalin was anti-German from 1934 onwards.

  • @JimmySmers

     Meh.

  • Typical, you've obviously never studied this beyond how they present it on the History channel. Right now I'm reading the book Stalin's Other War: Soviet Grand Strategy 1939-1941 by Albert Weeks. The Soviets hadn't been building up their steel industry since 1929 just to sit on it. Stalin had dreams of conquest perhaps even greater than Hitler.

  • @JimmySmers

Typical ego. I'm not afraid to admit I don't know that much about the Russian side of things, then again I never really cared. Plus History channel? Please. The only thing that runs on History channel are shows about lumberjacks and idiots that drive on ice. Thanks for the lesson though.

  • Stalin was going to attack the Third Reich in 1942, what you think you know about Russia's goals in WWII is all wrong.

  • @napoleon651 uhm not realy im afraid hitler didnt hate russia he hated communism when germany attacked poland with russia russia wanted the land but germany wanted it to stay polish land just an aryan race so he attacked russia honestly nowadays russians are becoming neo nazis because they want it to be like it was when they were allied with germany and by that they kill asians ( problem in russia ) but if germany won they wouldnt have that problem

  • MyKerberos you are absolutely right if the Americans never helped on D-Day then Britian would be talking German infact if Hitler stayed his ass out of Russia they wouldn't care and all of Europe would be talking German if Hitler didnt attack Russia and Americans never came on D-Day then Europe would be talking German you got to face the facts people

  • duh I am so upset man Germany should never lost the war goddamn 1 German division could take 3 divions for each allied faction

facts the battle of gazala axis were 80.000 Men the allied had over 180.000and still lose why because they had supplies and men to fight while at el allamenin the British outnumbered the Germans there 1 to 5 and had 10 more supplies than the Germans had and in the Eastren front if it just occured at 1945 where the Germans had tigers and v2 moscow will be taken in 2 week

  • actually there is strong reason to suggest that the reason hitler attacked russia in such haste was that stalin was planning to invade germany in the future when they would be unstoppable. whereas in 1942 because of stalins purges many top generals were removed causing the red army to be in disarray

  • True...And the US would have been next.....make no mistake.

  • What the hell is talking German? You hicks are all the same.

  • Britain was safe from invasion as early as the Spring of 1941 so drop the trauma, moron.

  • Heil Hitler!

  • is this an actual Luftwaffe march

  • No, it's the opening theme to The Battle of Britain, a 1969 British film.

  • ye i was just wondering if it was an actiuall march

  • It's since become an actual military march, the Band of the RAF are pretty fond of it.

  • Hmm... I thought it was to good to be a German march :)

  • @Oneandoneself ....this is NOT an actual Luftwaffe march. It was composed by Ron Goodwin for the 1960s film 'The Battle of Britain' but is very evocative of the German (and indeed British) marching style and a wonderful piece of martial music.

  • Wir Tragen Den fliegende Adler am roch

  • anyone have the music ?

  • The real name of the tune is "Aces High" :-)

  • dont give this comment thumbs down, hes actually right :O

  • im talking to the fag shit remeclerk

  • what is the real name of that song please?

  • Luftwaffenmarsch

  • Hate to say it but Hiltler (yes I dont like him) actually stated that the Brits and Germans were of the same racial stock..he never wanted to go to war with us!!..still 2 world wars and one world cup, why dont they learn??

  • 2 world wars blah blah blah brit fucker we saved your coward dicksuking ass shithead ,germans where fucking you in every front ,that fat fuck churchill was sucking our dick get us into the war because he knew germans where going to screw him in the ass brit scum youre nothing now youre our bitches lol

  • you took your time to profit of the fact that britain would not regain its superpower status following the war. if it hadn't been for us resisting on our own. he would have come to pay you a visit. In reality we need to thanks the japs. you ignorant fuck

  • I think it was the USA the only reason for the allied liberation in the westren front without usa troops support the brtis fuckers they would not make it tothe first hedgrew lol all war anylisors say the very same what awanker drove USA into war none ofthier business

  • what on earth are you talkin about

  • Stalin was going to invade the Third Reich in 1942, read Russian historian Viktor Suvorov's book The Icebreaker. What on earth are you talking about? You do know that during the war Stalin seized eastern Poland, northern Bukovina, Bessarabia, and the Baltic States? Do you honestly think the Soviets wanted permanent peace with the Germans? Get a clue.

  • lol, at least they had a go.. not like the french...no point with them.. hahahahaha

  • tks sbangi!!!! (irony I now live in the USA, even served in their army-after serving in ours,!! LOL) and it proves nothing except 'H' was right in one aspect,we should have gassed ppl with no brians like maercats...or maybe the best part of him ran down his mommas leg???..regards Steve

  • hahah the same lame leg joke , poor stupid little fag , still doesnt chance the fact that your britain is our bitch hahahaha fuck you

  • who gives a fuck;;;god bless ADOLF HITLER, AN A 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEIN FUERHER.

  • you moron, you can't even speak german, let alone be german. It is Frohe Geburtstag mein führer actually. If you are trying to be all pro-nazi, you are failing. Peasant.

  • You're wrong ;) It's "Alles Gute zum Geburtstag".

But I agree with you: eyedotkoma is a moron.

  • yes but the english are germany anglosaxson saxson is in germany thüringen. anglo is in schleswig holstein

  • yes and the british national anthem is german

  • Really? The first definitive published version of the song appeared in 1744 although it appears to have been based on earlier work either by Dr. John Bull or Purcell (both British). The tune also has similarities to "Remember O Thou Man", an old Scottish carol. The modern tune is also used for several Christian hyms and carols, but I don't see much German in those roots. Could you explain why you think it's German, please?

  • Just done a bit of research on this. Are you making the assumption that God Save the King was based on the original German national anthem, "Heil dir im Siegerkranz" which had German lyrics to the British national anthem tune and was used from 1871 to 1918? The lyrics of that version were originally written by Danish composer Heinrich Harries in 1790in honour of King Christian VII of Denmark (source: "The Oxford Companion to Music")

  • British indeed! Not ironic that one of the most beautiful "German" marches is actually British.

Greetings to our friends from the other side of the Channel!

  • haha is this really British? it's a great song nonetheless

  • You are absolutely right! And I agree with you...It is indeed a great song.

    Warm regards

  • Nice piece of music, written for the film "Battle of Britain" by British composer Ron Goodwin

  • BRITISH COMPOSER?
