Made back in 2008 with that level of skill back then they had limited functionality and are not considered "true" bots meaning they cant handle lots of errors because i did not debug the programs to be very stable :\

@egniman sounds like a video driver problem, run video test.exe and see if the system can handle d2 and if the system cant handle it for some reason go into the start icon of d2 and change how d2 starts up and put it in window mode(where is says "target") by adding -w

where runes can drop in an area is determiened by the areas "tc" or treasure class and by the level of the monster dropping the item.

good example of a tc difference is pit lvl 2 super chest! the superchest can drop only up to vex rune while the area the pit is in and mosnters can drop zod runes and coas/griffons

@Kriis14HD uswest has the most players then any realm and east is second asia does have asia 1 and asia 2 but not very many players. but its up to you if you want to play multi player or not. after ladders are down to 6 months down just about all ladders are dead :( and few players and tons of bots...

@PopSuperDiva use sandboxie to run more then one char and make support chars like a bo barb / support conviciton pally / bliz sorc + light sorc = 4

precasts ur chars and pull the pally along like a merc and kill with sorc. 4 characters in game in hell chaos after about 200+ runs a min of 3 hrs should have dropped but it is all about luck
