The idle on that baja is waaay too high... :-)

No kidding! lol I just changed pipes and that changed the idle...to excited to bother changing it for the jump. I've now got a Dominator pipe on it. Goes awesome!

The pipes do make a WORLD of difference on these engines. When I went from a stock muffler to a hpi ss pipe it made a huge difference. I hear the Dom style pipes wake them up even more.

I had the SS pipe on for a couple of days...lost bottom end and gained only a little top and a whole lot of noise. It wasn't worth it for me...the Dom however has a more refined note and power all round. Much better pipe. I was concerned with it sticking out the back but it's still way stronger than the alloy SS one anyway.

So it was a nice difference going from the SS pipe to the Dom? I'm fixing to order a pipe for my baja 5T I just bought and was debating on which pipe to go with. I want something that is going to help it at all rpms.

Yeah in my opinion the Dom is nicer all round and not as loud. I here great things about the CPI pipe...I was looking at it but got the Dom at a great price and thought I'd give it a go. I put one on a stock 23cc baja and it whiped my stock 5t...it was embarrising so I had to try something. lol
