This song / tune isn't in any of the 'regular' Sigur Ros albums (it might be featured on one of the deluxe-versions, but I'm not sure about that). I think it (the music, NOT the poem itself) was composed especially for this collaboration.

This live version of the song is only on the DVD "Heima". There is a studio version though, which can be found on the EP "Rímur", which I think, is not available as CD anymore. Maybe iTunes has it though..

..can somebody translate these words to english, some people saying this is 'very old poem and a lot of words are not used in Icelandic language anymore. As the language is now the song is about mountains, valleys, fog, nature, spring, flowers, covered tracks (footprints maybe or horse tracks)'

@kerzhakov89 My grandmother is from Iceland and all that I can tell you is the language of the lyrics is closer to Old Norse than modern Icelandic, though both are similar. It is about a journey across Iceland in the spring, so koncar1979 is on track....
