I saw the movie for the first time yesterday and I almost started crying when they ran into each other's arms like that. The only thing missing was Jude twirling Max around. :)
uhm i like this video but honestly i didnt see anything between jude and max except friendship.
they did have a lot of chemistry but that was bc their friendship was a big part of the movie.
but i mean max wasnt hurt at all when he walked in on jude and lucy- he thought it was funny- andd if he liked jude like that why would he tell him to go find lucy in "hey jude"? im just saying lol..
I think most of us Max/Jude freaks would rather believe that he kinda internalized any hurt he felt then. XD and as for telling him to go find lucy, he just wanted what was best for jude. and hey, next time you watch it, take a peek at max's face when jude and lucy reunite. he doesn't look especially happy does he? lol. way to politely disagree! go you! =D
i agree with wickedcat29, i just watched atu for the first time tonight, and i totally thought that jude and max had more chemistry than lucy and jude, plus i find lucy annoying. lol.
I agree. I liked Evan Rachel Wood in Running w/Scissors and Down in the Valley, but she just wasn't good enough at playing Lucy. She sounded oblivious and needy when she should've been blinded by her passionate drive to make the war end even at the cost of her relationship with Jude. She embodied the entire '60s, going from innocent and idealistic to more wizened yet still powerful. She easily could've stolen the show, but her perfomance was weak. Just my 2 cents!
I couldn't agree with more, she just wasn't all that good. :/ i mean, i thought the man who played jude and max did amazing, as did everybody else, but to me, Lucy just seemed to lack something,
yeah like I'm glad people agree with me on that one, Lucy irritated me throughout... I could tell if I really disliked the character or just the actress. :\
I don't really like Coldplay but anything with Jude/Max I like. I love Jude/Max, they are just so good together. I thought they had more chemistry together in the movie then Lucy/Jude did. Great job with the video!!

I agree. I kind of felt that she didn't really have much substance. It kind of felt like she was just odd. I don't know.

even though I disliked her and didn't love them together I was still happy with the end, though. xD It was so sweet.

Yay! First comment. I finally found the time to watch this. =D
I liked this A LOT. Especially the end, where it sort of recaps everything they went through. That hug just gets me every time :*)
Very nice.
