@MyThomasN It's called CRATE TRAINING. Look it up. Dogs that are crate trained from an early age LOVE their crates, and actually seek them out for comfort. No different than a baby going in a crib.

He's just a bundle of love. I'd say he's the best boy indeed except that my Baxter is my best boy :) Thanks for posting... put a smile on my face on this dreary Hallowe'en Monday! ox
Our bulldog Bentley has a blanket just like that and does the same exact thing with it. He will fall asleep with the thing in his mouth like that. Herschel rocks we look forward to his costume every year.
It's been since 1980's when my parents & I had a Bulldog and I do remember all she did was drool, snore & fart. LOL Nothing compares to a Bullies odors.;-)
@hawg427 He has been in love with his "box" since he was a puppy. The only time I close the door is at night because his loud toenails on the wood floor as he walks around wake everyone up, especially the baby...and his snoring would be too loud if he was outside our bedrooms doors. All during the day, even we we are away from the house, the door is open and he is free to roam the house. However, every time we come home, he is comfy and sleeping in his box, door open. Its his favorite place!
@zigzag513 She is dressing up too, but I cant guarantee she will make a video appearance. Halloween night is crazy at our house with two kids, video cameras, cameras, and a bulldog...and me trying to get the perfect video of Herschel for his fans. Tune in tonight to see him :-)
