I have been looking for this song since it came out! There is another version that I believe John Robinson did (on the other side of this record) which is fire! Thanks JR for many many years of great music. We can never forget you, because of the body of work you left for us to enjoy! :-)
was diggin in MY crates and found cassettes with mixes from the early 90's. I remember doing a lot of things when staying home late nite weekends, but they always included WBLS, John Robinson, and my tape deck. Props to RJNY for taking us back.
John Robinson took me ot of a messed up recording deal and produced "Runnin in and out of my life" and " Stand by". I was the first artist signed to his Black Rain label He truly missed! I recorded tracks just before his death that never was released and I stopped recording after his death. He was a stand up guy, which is rare in the music industry. He was a great producer and motivater. If uknow a producer like him let me know. Id get back in the game to prove he was right about my talent.
SUBLIME!..............If there is such thing as a perfect House production, i would not rule out this gem. What happens when both vocals and music are carefully considered and seemingly melt together. Absolute top ten as far as im concerned.............Peace!
@empathyant1 --- just find another John Robinson production f.e. "Spring - Stick Together (1993)" and you've found perfection again thus filling your top ten almost instantly...(",)...

John Robinson and Tony Humphries was one of The First House DJ's That Got me Into House Music Back in 1992-1993 when I was about 12 or 13 years old listening to them on the Radio. When I heard about John's death on Kiss Club Classics back around 1999 when Jay "Mixin" Dixon and Sting International did a Tribute to him, I was in shock. John Will be Missed. (RIP).
dcflava74 has got it absolutely correct. John Robinson was one of the most underrated DJs of his day. You listen to his sets--they were always perfect. May the God of the heavens remember him and allow him to use his God-given talent again, here on a paradise earth.
John Robison was definitely one of the best,i also remeber when he did his mixes on 98.7 Kiss on a saturday night right after the Tony Humphries mix,it was a perfect blend of house,ol skool disco as well as some uptempo stuff, may his work live on,R.I.P John
John Robinson wasn't only a great producer, but did WICKED mixes on the radio. I remember on a Saturday night listening to John's sets. I heard he died tragically but didn't know the circumstances regarding the cause of death. But you are so right, I don't remember ANYONE giving any form of tribute to John....and that is an absolute shame...
john robinson lives on the master mixxes of WBLS.."John Robinson kickin the beats on 107.5 WBLS..." hit me on email and i will tell u where to get his mixxes to download
I remember listening to John Robinson and used to love his mixes and like you thought he was one of the most underrated DJs and producers of his time. H eowuld follow Tony Humphries on a Saturday night and also do a slot WBLS. I believe he died in a car crash in the UK ...very tragic and sad RIP John

John Robinson was one of the dopest producers of the 90's its such a shame that there isnt anything on him or his life on the Interenet.
Not even on the tragic accident.
Pissed Off..
Thanks RJNY for posting this track.
