  • ....Talk about harsher in hindsight...

  • I remember watching some of this show when they aired it on Cartoon Network (I believe it was shown around midnight). I found it to be very strange.

  • @Xanatos21 ya they showed it late friday nites/early saturday mornings in the late 90's mostly 97'/98 on cartoon network rite after the super globetrotters show lol and then the banana splits but i never watched that gay shit lol josie and the pussycats was pretty coo tho those chix were hott!! lol and jabberjaw eh i can take it or leave it

  • I remember this show when I was too young and this actually triggers me the happy years of my childhood, lovely memories, now the man has become into a real angelic being, and he will become a friendly guard, he provoked the people's laugh and he deserves now his wings, now he could fly until he reaches God, and make him laugh. We'll miss you, despite the Color of your soul, you will bright radiant without being afraid about evil beings now

  • Hilary :D

  • We all know Hornswaggle was Satan, they just never said it.

  • The shows villian was "Hornswoggle"

  • I'm dead!??? Whattchu talkin' bout Jesus????

  • I loved this show!

  • he is now with god..

  • I can totally see Gary Coleman as a guardian angel. But who the hell walks around throwing thunderclouds at little kids?

  • @alchemist889 That was Hornswaggle. He loves causing trouble for people.

  • He actually does this stuff now, I saw him save some guy yesterday who had flipped his vette.

  • Great now he's a superhero in real life.

  • I loved this theme song!

  • The cartoon immortalizes Gary Coleman as a little angel. It relates to His death. God bless him. He will rest in peace knowing that the people on Earth will rremember him as an angel.

  • I think they made him too tall and not dark enough.

  • Of course, it is really bizarre how this cartoon show strongly relates to Gary Coleman's death. Rest in peace, Gary. You were one funny guy.

  • aventuras de un angel guardian o andy levo en mexico canal 5 televisa

  • THIS SHOW WAS A FUCKING WARNING AND PREDICTION ABOUT HIS FUTURE HOLY SHIIT

  • The NBC airings featuring narration in the opening credits by Casey Kasem.

  • LOL!!! I remember this show! It played over night during the summers when I was in middle school! I'd watch it (among other things on Cartoon Network) at like 2:00 or 3:00 when I should have been asleep lol.

  • be afraid to look up at the sky, cause you might just see gary comeing to get you.

  • @fezball1 LOL

  • RIP GARY COLEMAN. You are now free my Bro

  • The music is very reflective of black people in the 70s... DY-NO-MITE!!!

  • now he's an angel just like the cartoon, hopefully after he died.

  • This looks retarded. Some random "evil guy" sends rain on their picnic. It's like the stereotypical bullshit good vs. evil scenario.

  • Wow,it's been a long time, but I do vaguely remember Gary having his own cartoon show. RIP gary.

  • All they need to do, is remove the afro from all the episodes and they have a new cartoon to broadcast!

  • Considering all the crap Gary went through his whole life, I'm guessing he died with a big smile on his face, glad it was all over.

  • He's finally reprising his role from this show

  • R.I.P :,(

  • fools, he's been dead this whole time

  • Was this filmed yesterday?

  • @WorselWorsel LOL

  • i love horrible cartoon. you laugh your ass off at them. its more entertaining than most of the morning crap they put out these days

  • This cartoon is so much more appropriate now.

  • RIP Gary Coleman. Its sad in your lifetime, like most child stars, you were both mistreated and under-appreciated. I pray that you finally found peace. To some my fellow youtubers, try to practice self control and not get on this blog with negativity. Have some respect for Mr. Coleman's passing and his grieving family. Thank you.

  • He was a bitter ,unhappy and angry littleman who tried to commit suicide twice . He

got his wish ,he's dead .

  • This cartoon is very disturbing now with the passing of Gary Coleman

  • R.I.P Mr. Gary Coleman

  • RIP lil guy...you'll be missed

  • well its his show now rip gary thanks for the memories tell mike we miss him to

  • I remember this from around 1982, but I also seem to recall Casey Kasem, or someone sounding like him, narrating this title sequence, which is missing here.

  • i want to see more of this RIP

  • LMBO HE IS DEAD 4 REAL NOW

    I'm edgy bitch

  • @Joe402 If you're so edgy, why aren't you saying "LMAO!"?

  • Well, this show just got a lot creepier.

  • @essexcabot

    lmao

  • ahauhauhahua arnold

  • RIP

  • Would this cartoon be considered irony now?

  • Sad news: Gary Coleman has passed away on May 28, 2010 at age 42. He portrayed an angel in the cartoon series, and he is now an angel in real life.

  • based on a true story

    sorry couldn't help myself.

  • @SpamNapkin:

    R.I.P., Webster.

  • @Boonehams i feel so sorry for laughing

  • @Boonehams "Webster" is Emmanuel Lewis, who is still very much alive. Not Gary Coleman.

  • It's all coming full circle

  • Now a documentary.

  • Que papo é esse Willis???

    Saudades Arnold!!

  • R.I.P

  • RIP Gary Coleman

  • Rest in peace, Gary. ;_;

  • R.I.P From Brazil

  • I just remember this cartoon and could not help myself, thinking about Gary Coleman's passing away. Sad! :(

  • R.I.P . GARY COLEMAN...

  • R.I.P Arnold!

  • R.I.P. Gary Coleman hope you do become a real angel in heaven and yes Gary just died :(.

  • Saturday TV Funhouse, TV Funhouse, TV Fun House! (LET GO OF MY SHOW!)

  • I see a PIMP!!!!

  • When the show was on NBC back in the 80's the opening narriation was done Casey Kasem a.k.a. Shaggy from Scooby Doo.

  • I actually use to like this show. I didn't know it would get such negative comments.

  • Could be worse folks - the biggest disaster in 80s cartoon history debuted 25 years ago this month.

This show looks like gold when compared to that.

  • That dude in the trench coat looks like a broke ass Gargamel

  • what the fuck is this shit LOL

  • Gary Coleman suffers seizure

  • Lol, cool theme sound

  • I remember watching this show in the 80's . What a piece of shit.

  • How can Gary be an angel? He's in jail.

  • no, he is 41 and lving life, thas

  • oh shit run its gargamel

  • I used to watch this on cartoon network its been some years since i watched this i use to like this. when i was a kid this use to be a my late night show on weekends when could not go to sleep along with gumby and the super globetrotters. To bad the cartoon network play nothing but crap at the late night hour know.

  • IT SUCKS !!!

  • I don't like the way that guy in the trench coat is looking at young Gary. eeg.

  • I wonder if this is available on dvd

  • When this was shown on NBC (the original network broadcasts), a very stupid narration was added to the opening credits, explaining what the show was all about-why the network did this, I have no idea.

  • ¿Hasta Cuando podre ver mi caricatura Favorita?

Son 26 capitulos no puedo creer que no puedan Ayudarme a subir a a este sitio web

  • i remember my little butt waking up saturday mornings, couldn't WAIT for this show 2 come on!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • By the way, the show's a guilty pleasure for me. And the theme song is pretty damn catchy. Anyone else agree?

  • hell yes, i agree!! this came out around 1981-1982 when i was in 4th or 5th grade on nbc, of course, since 'different strokes' was still on the air!

  • Yeah...this theme song is so whimsical. There are so many 80's themes that I wish I could see being sung or played in the recording room.

  • I never did understand the premise of this cartoon & especially why they called it the Gary Coleman Show when he was named Andy.Never mind that he was an angel as well. Why not put him in adventures with other kids?Truth be told,he wasn't even a kid when this aired in the 1982-1983 season.

  • The cartoon was loosely adapted from the 1982 TV movie Kid With the Broken Halo in which his name was Andy LeBeau a fallen angel. I feel you on all that youre saying though.. it made me laugh out loud.

  • gary coleman was the voice of andy

  • Wtfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • This is why Gary Coleman doesn't have any money left. He chooses to be part of stupid cartoon shows that don't even make sense. I bet it was Gary himself who came up with the idea though.

  • Que padre Caricura ojala podiera verse Otravez en canal 5 de televisa mexico como recordar aquellos Años de 1988 Cuando la vi en canal 5

  • so thats the robot chicken joke?

  • this show really wasn't that bad! even though there were only a few episodes, i used to stay up every friday night when cartoon network showed it!

  • LOL! I thought I was the only one who watched this show on Cartoon Network on late Friday nights! This was around 10 years ago, in 1999. They aired it alongside "Gumby" and "Hong Kong Phooey".

  • Same here when I would tell other people about this. Show they wouldn't know what I was talking about

  • oh you mean the fgood old days when cartoon network used to show cartoons! i miss those days :(

  • i miss hong kong phooey. but you're definitely not alone, i watched the gary coleman show too.

  • I watched it back then too. The thing was, was that

it was on so late at night. I am also glad that I'm not the only one who remembers it on Cartoon Network.

  • @lesteroaks So did I!

  • The cartoon wasn't that bad. It was even worse.

  • horrible lol

  • Believe it or not, John Kricfalusi worked on this show. Yep, THAT John Kricfalusi. It was when he'd just entered the business.

The guy may be a jerk, but I feel for him----can you imagine how maddening it must have been for someone like him to be stuck working on things like this? Ugh.

  • What the fuck? This looks atrocious.

  • I actually watched this in reruns on Fridays when Cartoon Network had this block called Toonapalooza. That was way before Adult Swim. I remember this show and the Super Globtrotters came on back to back at midnight. I'll admit it was a corny cartoon, but I found it to be a guilty pleasure.

  • Since you've seen it, maybe you can tell me this: Just what the hell was that villain guy's problem, anyway? LOL!

"Hey, there's some little kids having fun! I think I'll make it RAIN on them! 'Cause I'm EVIL like that! MWAAA-ha ha ha haaaaa!!!!"

  • lol Thats Hornswoggle, and he basically kept Andy (Gary Coleman) from doing his angel duties. Why? I have no idea. They never really explain why he's around. His job was basically to be an asshole.

  • Well I'll be hornswoggled. :]

"Grrrr! I hate angels! They're all so...GOOD an'...NICE an'...helpin' people an' stuff! Aaaargh! I hate them SOOOO frickin' much! 'Specially the ones who look and sound uncannily like child sitcom stars! They're the...the...goodest of all! Aw, man, I'm gonna be sick!"

Thank GOD (or angel Gary Coleman? :) that the standards for TV animation finally started to climb upwards as the 1980s went on.

  • Yeah just like Gargamel on the Smurf TV show...didn't these villains have better things to do? Plus I hated that cat Azreal, I guess thats why I hate my girlfriends cat..so annoying.

  • What killed me was the fact that this cartoon was about angels but Gary didn't seem 'good' enough so he needed a 'white' angel to 'show' him the way...LOL. Racist crapola!!

  • This was the worst cartoon ever. It sucked so bad it would make kids go outside to play.

  • @ReggieDunlop1960

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

u hella just made me laugh!

  • what was it about ?

  • I never understood this cartoon but it was pretty good.

  • I remember this cartoon not too many people know that gary had a cartoon, yes he was that big.

  • It was the 80s and 90s.

Anything live action had a cartoon version...
