I had the rare pleasure last year of being in the LA area near Long Beach in a rented Camaro SS - sunroof open, about 75 degrees or so - 3 days of vacation still ahead of me. I was headed to Palm Desert to visit a long lost aunt our family happily reconnected with . This song came on the radio, it could not have been a more perfect soundtrack for the day. This defines the southern California sound of the late '70's - heck the perfect blend of country and rock.anytime - thank you for posting.

Left WV for 30 years to work in corporate america. This song reminds me of what I left behind and why I returned. Poco could paint a dream. It took me a good time to slow down and smell the roses after my trek for the almighty dollar... but, I think I got the knack of it now : ) I love this song and the beauties of the nature around me every day. sherrylynn70, great tune that I will remember forever. I have turned 58 this June ...6/6/1952 and always will keep listening to Poco. Such a tranquil song. I live up here in the North country (Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota) and the temp today is sunny and 74 degrees with a low of 52 degrees. Beautiful Minnesota and all our Lakes/Pine Trees, you can't go wrong just chilling out, especially to Poco and all. I like this video except what does scripture and pictures of Jesus have to do with it? Really? It's a song about love between a man and a woman. I'm not saying there are not times to use scripture and such, it's just not in this song. It ruined it. If you look at all the other pictures you used in the video, the Christian ones stuck out like a sore thumb.

It's nice to meet other POCO lovers, haha. Being from Argentina, I don't think I ever met one personally. I still remember clearly the moment I first heard "Rose of Cimarron" on the radio, back in 1977... and I still have the LP :-)

Poco's music enriched my teenage years so so much... I'm grateful for those memories :-)
