@hellaskinnyskin Unless you're brock lesnar, then you get paid out the wazoo purely because you reel in the WWE retards to come watch ufc and dumb the sport down. Besides the pay though a lot of people don't like how the UFC treats their fighters like property. When you sign a contract with the UFC they own your name, likeness, they can tell you what clothes you're allowed to wear when at events, you aren't allowed to participate in any other organized sport but they can terminate you any time.

@dreamsyncc dream, strikeforce, ufc are all different mixed martial arts (mma) organizations, k-1 one the other hand is a kickboxing organization.

@dreamsyncc UFC, Dream and Strikeforce are all different MMA organizations (allowing fighting to the ground). K1 is an kickboxing promotion in Tokyo (not allowing fighting on the ground, bigger gloves etc). :-) What might confuse you is the K1 Dynamite, an event hold every New Year's eve with special rules allowing grappling and fighting to the ground. But except from this tournament, K1 is kickboxing, and the other ones (ufc, dream, strikeforce) are mixed martial arts :)
