  • Danm man your M3 Pulls nice on the 458, GT-R and Z06. The ESS VT-625 is no joke. Nice Vids

  • shit only if that zo6 has same gear box as the modern supercars am sure it will rape everything in the road, hope the c7 has quick gear box

  • Nice vid. All sweet cars

  • Or it's power

  • You don't judge a car based on its speed

  • 458 stock

  • GTR!! Kept up.

  • He needs some Underground Racing twin turbo to keep up.

  • Specs of the m3?

  • Fantastic vídeo!

  • I didn't think the M3 would hang with the P800 GTR, very impressive!

  • gtr ownes

  • what is the aleron in the GTR??? this is good in circuit NO IN HIGH SPEED ASSHOLE

  • Close the damn windows damnit

  • Great video indeed.. thanks for sharing.

  • I would eat a small child to own a M3 ESS like that!! Stupid hungry right now too!!

  • @dwill8919 I love my M5 to death but the one thing I miss out on is being able to do big mods like some of these cars are sporting. Can't go wrong with any of those cars though.

  • @thefirm13 ESS is working on a SC for E60/M5 looks to start out at 650hp (keep in mind M3 started out at 525 but goes up to 650/775). In the meanwhile .... Dinan Stroker 5.7L and G-Power or even better ... both :) 1k hp seems reasonable.

  • LOVED the video. Well done. All beautiful cars. Well, except for that trunk whale of a spoiler the GTR has (shudder).

  • Amazing i rly enjoyed the vid one th best on the tube! Been rly racking my brain about getting a m3 or m6. Like the m3'fully but the m6 power just is so krazy! But it's a bit on the ugly side. So then u got m5 but I hate four door sports cars so to speak lol. Buy seeing m3 in action like tha helps lean me toward knowing I can get rly gud power outta m3 not havin to get the v10 n scariface looks for power n have both!

  • I like the fact that you cant tell that the M3 is tunned! :)

You can suprise a lot of supercar owners :D

  • @JohnBlackization All cars but the Ferrari were tuned.

  • damn that 458 sound great and shifts like hell

  • The m3 is the best!!

  • 458 and the C6Z was a GREAT race.

  • What do you guys do for a living! please tell me.

  • Good runs but they all look slow : )

  • @WMSpower Let's run. :P

  • @DLSJ5

Sup bro! hope things are well. You know how I roll! I get called out and I bring it. My track is around the corner from my shop. Anytime you feel you can take any of my cars, come down : ) that goes for any other car as well.

  • @WMSpower No call out here Brotha, I know how well your cars move! Just come out with us next time and have some fun, it would be great to hang out as well!

  • As the poster has already stated, this P800 was on 91 octane fuel. I'm not sure everyone on these boards understands what that weill do to your tune - but it's really performance impacting. On 93 Octane, a P800 just dyno'd (on a Mustang Dyno) 717 awhp. As has been already said - a P800 traps into the 140's, running mid to low 10's all day. Add race fuel and V2 turbo and you have an R900 that traps 145-150 and runs mid to high 9's all day.

That said the M3 was extremely impressive! Great Video!

  • @vtknight777 THANK YOU.

  • @vtknight777 Was the M3 on racing fuel, or is it just the way the P800 is tuned that it need it to get the 800hp? There must be a big difference between car and driver, as there are other video where the VT625 barely beat a GT-R 480hp ... (having DCT does even it out though vs manual).

btw: the ess kit is good for up to 775hp (but not sure if any have pushed it to that yet ...)

  • @vtknight777 yea, that fucking m3 was crazy good. from 3rd-5th gear it just pulled!

  • Awesome cars....amazing races, but even better was the information provided about all of the cars in the video. The M3 was very impressive, but even more impressive was the Z06. Compared to the other cars, it was by far the cheapest and came to the fight with the least amount of HP and mods. I would love to see all these races again with some real mods added to the Z (Heads/Cam/etc.). And the 458 Italia = pure sex!! ;)

  • @pumafiveoh A heads/cam/intake Z06 would be a good race for the GT-R on its 93 octane tune. P800s trap 140mph in the 1/4 on 93. Also comparing new prices for all of the cars the M3 would actually be the cheapest car in the group.

  • @kageryu311 Really? Are you taking into consideration the cost of the mods, or just the vehicles? Depending on what year Z06 you bought, they were in the low $60k range...and have been progressively increasing in price with the newer models and options (Z07 package 2011 running at around $89k). My buddies tech package E92 cost closer to $70k when all was said and done....and you add the blower and supporting cast and you're well over $100k in my estimates. Please correct me if I'm wrong?

  • @pumafiveoh I'm comparing if you bought 2011 models for everything man. And you are right that if you include mods and got the Z06 a heads/cam/intake package it would be the cheapest.

    Sam

  • Okay p800 tied with ZO6 and ZO6 tied with Italia, that means the GTR P800 is only as fast as the stock Italia. By my calculation this gtr is making no more than 700hp at the crank, plus the extra passenger that's why this gtr is so slow. A real P800 with 707awhp, will leave all of those other cars in the dust.

  • @kg35tt He was on 91 octane. The P800 shines on 93 octane when he can pump up the boost to make 700whp. P800s trap 140mph on 93 octane.

  • Damn, very surprised by the ESS M3. No way that GTR was a Switzer 800, seems very slow. A Switzer 600 traps 130 and I don't believe any of the cars in that video traps that.

  • @LamboV12 I understand your doubts, howeer it is a Switzer P800, but it was on 91 octane in the vid, it made 626whp on that fuel, as has been noted here. FWIW, that particular P800 GTR trapped 136MPH at Famoso raceway on 100 octane, the ESS M3 trapped 129 at Famoso in positive DA with some traction issues, at sea level it trapped 132.7 on the VBox. :) In good conditions, at a solid track and with full traction, it will easily trap over 130.

  • @LamboV12

Seems like all the cars are in the 550HP area.

  • @WMSpower C6 Z06 is at 484WHP, SC'd M3 at 586WHP, the Switzer GTR is at 625WHP on 91 octane, Italia 458 is 570CHP.

  • @DLSJ5 Ah that make sense ... 586 * 3800/3700 (weight) * 1.05 (2WD vs 4WD)= 631hp ... so if the P800 is down to 'P735' the M3 should match the GT-R with 650hp. Go and upgrade to VT-775 :)

    775 * 3.8/3.7 * 1.05 == P835 ...

BTW: Was the M3 on 91 as well?

  • Pretty interesitng match-ups.... thanks for sharing!

  • I PREFER FERRARI F40 LE MANS ( COMPETITION ) !

  • Awesome video.. ESS makes an impressive kit for the E9X M3. That Italia needs to go to UGR and rematch.

  • Omg!!!! That M3 is unstopable :D :D

  • If i'm not wrong, the itale have around 580bhp, but other cars are over 600+ bhp..lol... so, i can't c a point in this comparation, sry..!

Go around a track, then u'll c who is a better car..! Fuck straight line..!

  • GTR all the way

  • ESS M3's are very fast !

  • Great vids!

It would be great to see some of these cars up against chipped Golf GTIs since owners think they are super cars. :)

  • Your car has always been dominating with the gintani setup, so I was just curious if there should be a reason I should shy away and go another direction

  • Yeah, the red one is mine. My boy got the stage 2+ on his and loves it but I always like to be different but his car is quick as hell and like I said

  • Try supercharged 458 Italia! :D

  • sick video.. nice edits.. love it

  • definitely you pointed it out, the gtr was probably running at 700 crank hp and not at full 800hp.

  • WITH ALL MY RESPECT

R u sure P800 " the the slowest GT-R P800 in the palnet + the drive not good in shifting gears "

i hope u see all the gray P800in DragTimes

  • Thx bro

  • so slooooooow

  • @dlsj5 - hey man, why did you drop the gintani SC2+ kit. I'm really close to getting a supercharger and I've always liked your videos but I see your running a different kit now. Any pointers would be appreciated. Keep up the good work!!!

  • @wagdaddyandef9man Don't you have a Gintani Supercharged M3?

  • @DLSJ5 The black one in the vids has one, but the red one does not.

  • @wagdaddyandef9man You own the Red one?

  • @DLSJ5 800hp gtr should of pulled better than that on just a tuned vette.

  • GTR wing just killed the whole video.

  • another great vid. zo6 should go from 60 roll tho. i thought the p800 was suppose to be untouchable. must be only in russia.

  • Comment removed

  • Well the vid speaks for itself, but no...absolutely no intake and tune will gain 40 wheel hp on a Z06...NONE. Corvettes do have neck snapping torque...the difference here for those who don't understand is in part gearing and in part 3 cars with dual clutch systems versus one with a manual shift...I love the experts on these vids.

  • @SCRex0472 i agree! the z06 is the one without a doubt the most potential moster!

  • @SCRex0472 Point taken, seems like a big gain, but that's what the the before and after showed on the DJ, he also gained 2+ cars over a stock C6 Z06.

  • @DLSJ5 There are definitely some monsters out there that just have magic motors...I got 20 whp out of my Z06 with the same mods of the car in the vid...I also know that many dyno shops will tune the cars for dyno numbers only so? Anyway love seeing a mildly tuned Vette run with the ridiculously tuned boys!

  • @SCRex0472 You are wrong about that one, big time! TORQ in South Florida did a tune on a stock C6 Z06 and got 32 whp, it is possible.

  • @Spiky86Well i don't think I'm big time wrong because 32 isn't 40...especially to the wheels...I leave open that I can be wrong Spiky86 but I would be very suspicious of the dyno result if the tech told me 40whp...like I said, the car can be tuned by the tech running the dyno in the attempt to get the highest possible numbers, but is that safe. Most wheel hp results I see on all of the Vette forums are much less than 40....15-20 is way more common.

  • @SCRex0472 No it isn´t but that was 32 whp with only a tune, nothing else. I can´t imagine someone doing a tune just to see high numbers, they want a reliable car pushin out more power. Sure, I agree on that, the dyno can show too high figures but I don´t think that one will, don´t remember what kind of dyno it is but I´ll look it up.

  • i love the ferrari =)

  • Got to love the toll roads! Nice video.

  • Kinda shows how the Corvettes don't have that "neck snapping torque" response once you go wot. On corvetteforum a while back there was a thread about this and the responses were all the same: If you want to scare the shit out of your friends with an instant surge of power at any speed in the right rpm range, buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The newer C6Z and C6ZR1 have a system which eases the torque into the rpm range for warranty purposes but you can eliminate it like the Skip Shift system

  • @psmTARDCORE lol. This is called torque management. It can be taken out via a tune.

  • @fballstl28 I know, that's what I said ^^ but really, it is annoying and very noticable when you drive an 06 C6Z compared to a 2010 and go wot in 1st or 2nd gear. But if you buy a brand new vette and can afford to void the warranty by tunning, might as well take it out

  • 458 Novitec and then lets play.

  • GTR always had windows down. WTF???

  • Nice runs!! Isn't that GT-R built to run road course races as opposed to drag racing? And that 458 Italia is sexy as hell, damn!!

  • I also thought the P800 made 700whp on pump gas.

  • @kageryu311 Not on 91 octane, check the Switzer Site about the packages, thinking about it now we should have called it the P700.

  • @DLSJ5 the p800 was called p800 before. however, after they sold the kit to the customer in cali, and found out the power didn't delivery, so they updated their website and separate a session for cali then call it p700 kit as we seen nowadays.

  • Great video. The Zo6 did good.

  • Thats what i call Textbook Tits !!!

  • A SWITZER P800 GTR can almost keep up with a Bugatti Veyron... that Gtr might be pulling 580 hp.. and also as someone said.. the m3 has a good help with the light aftermarket parts.

  • @maubaratta That P800 made 625whp on 91 octane, he had a passenger as well, which is good for 1-2 cars. If he had been on the C16 tune he'd destroyed every car there. The SC'd M3 has no light weight aftermarket parts. 95CL stated that the M3 could do better with some weight reduction and gave a few examples.

  • @DLSJ5 so thats what i thought, a p800 must destroy every car there. whats the c16 tune?.. sorry for my misunderstanding with the bmw.. it is very fast with that kit. The ferrari is very fast also stock.

  • @maubaratta No worries! A C16 tune, would be with leaded race gas, along with more timing and boost, according to the GTR owner it is good for almost 100 more whp! Good points, the M3 traps around 132+, runs 6.8 60-130 on the Vbox, and a stock 458 has trapped 130+ at a 1/4 mile track as well.

  • @DLSJ5 A well tuned P800 on 93 Octane traps around 138, and that is on the stock tires..

  • @SwitzerPerf Yep, they are amazing cars, 91 is just that bad Neil! As you know on 100 octane, that GTR trapped 136 at Famoso, which is moderately fast track at best, that's an amazing trap speed for that track!

  • Is that Ricky's P800? If so, it is making closer to 600awhp than 700awhp on 91 octane. Nice runs though!

  • @SwitzerPerf You are correct! Thank you!

  • @SwitzerPerf Even at that much power your p800 should be putting some cars on a bolt on Z06.

  • @kageryu311 Agreed, and he put plenty of cars on the Z06 in the last two runs.

  • Power to weight, you would think a GT-R with a P800 kit, (which is everything under the sun including big turbos) making 700hp would be able to rape a nearly stock Corvette.

  • @svt11111 Point taken, but I think in the last two runs he did pull away nicely, the initial runs he was not starting in his optimal powerband, this according to the driver and camera man.

  • @DLSJ5 It was definitely faster, but with a 200hp+ advantage not as much as most would assume.

  • @svt11111 I understand what you are saying, but the Z06 made 484 WHP, the GTR 626, so that's 142whp difference, the GTR with the passenger weighs approx. 750 lbs. more than the Z06. Unlike the first few pulls, in the last two runs the GTR, started in it's optimal powerband, and pulled the Z06 rather easily. The Z06 is very close to the 458 Italia and the 458 have gone 130+ traps stock.

  • @DLSJ5 Yup, that 750lbs is a killer. Can't tell how much the GT-R pulled but it didn't seem like anything more than a car length or so. Considering the level of modifications you would think the GT-R would be 5-6 cars out with big turbos and every other bolt-on imaginable.

  • Awesome video as usual. The M3 is very impressive, I thought the italia would hold up better seeing as they can go 130mph in the 1/4. I still think the M3 has a bit left in it without adding any additional power... Think Recaro's/BMW Performance seats -120lbs. Painted Carbon & hood trunk -80lbs. Lightweight battey - 40lbs and lighter wheels would do wonders for your power to weight.

  • @95CSL Love responses like these! Good stuff.

  • @95CSL hey take a look at my car ; ) i have the same ESS 625 tune, same water meth kit, lighter wheels, the performance seats, CF trunk, CF rear diffuser, CF bonnet (coming in from Varis in 2 weeks), KW club sport and CF interiors, CF steering wheel (ordered, yet being hand made) ... but yes, this car is tuned superbly ; ) GREAT VIDEO!!!

  • ESS superchargers turn M3's into super car killers !

  • Sick runs M3...... Truly a beast

  • Amazing video!!

  • wow 10 minutes well spent.

    ESS ftw... and 458 > all :)

  • The GT-R guy with the camera should close the fucking window so we can hear the beatufil sounds of the cars. The wind noise is everywhere, there is no need to record it.

  • Well done M power all the way

  • amazing video

  • Great video thx for sharing..

  • Great vid! Thumbs up.
