crybabygirl08 AGREED. i mean, rachel sayd in the l8r episodes that ross was the one who ruined their relationship, but rachel kept hanging out wif mark so obviously ross'll b jealous. Then she says they should take a break, which technically means ross didn't do anything wrong. In the l8r seasons she keeps saying that ross cheated on her, WHICH IS SO NOT TRUE. I like jenn aniston, but i absolutely HATE rachel.. I don't think ross n rachel r good tgt... Ross deserves much better.

@faefae44 Well, put yourself in Ross's position. His girlfriend calls for a "break" after they havea fight, and then she has the guy he was suspecting her of flirting with over a few hours later. When a person calls for a "break" they are making a risky move with their partner. This is why you DON'T go on a break, thats why you work things out with the person you are with. Plus Ross's was emotional, confused, and drunk when it happened. Not saying what he did was right, but he had his reasons.

So I got really mad how she's pendding the whole reason they are breaking up is because of him. I also agree that what sleeping with someone else isn't the right thing so I can't fully blame her for being angry. Idk maybe Mark should've just stayed out of it. lol.

This is easily the saddest scene in the entirety of the series; none of the other major plot points have anything that comes close to being as emotional as this.

I personally think it was mainly Rachel's fault; she does clearly say that she wants to take a break, therefore allowing Ross to go a separate way.

Also, surely she should have given Ross some credit - a few episodes later, Mark admits that he fancies her, meaning Ross had the right to be suspicious all along.

He should have waited for a few days before screwing another women. although, Ross might have been really heartbroken but that does not give him the right to sleep with another lady. if rachel does forgive him it would be like forgiving someone who killed your parents. the example is a little exaggerated but yeah, its something like that.

She herself said they had broken up in this vid, so her refusing to even think of working through it seemed callous. It always felt like ROss cared more for her than she did for him. Even with her having serious feelings for Joey..her character was always kind of shallow. Thats why the ending felt forced--
