Getting a large piece of cartilage cut out of your nose qualifies as irritating. On another note... Who said he was a "badass"? @TheDewManchoo THIS. Everything you said. Times 100. I have both nostrils and my septum pierced. The pain was relatively minimal, but I still teared up quite badly or all three. It's just how the body worked, and it is nothing like crying.
Also, it seems to be a go-to insult to tell someone getting pierced that they're not tough. There are LIMITLESS reasons why people modify their bodies. To take one and generalize is ignorant and shameful.
I bet his eyes hurt when he got those done.
