Pretty cool, thanks for posting this! I had some dealings with folks who represented Lion's Gate back in 1999. They were interested in a comic book project I wrote and wanted to turn it into a movie or possible television series. After several months they ultimately passed. Realistically I didn't think it would happen but it was pretty exciting just the same.

Hmm. You make a good point, jackeezie. Well...if this movie breaks through and I make nothing else...then I guess this was the only idea I had for 10 years. On the other hand, if this movie breaks through and two or three other movies follow immediately after as if Pandora's box was opened resulting to a domino effect of subsequent stories...then I guess I did have other ideas afterall. (smile) We'll have to wait and see.

Not sure. Life for me was strange. But I will say this. I would major in film and minor in business. Or I would major in theater and minor in business. Or I would major an ANYTHING YOU LOVE and minor in business. Business is what gives your feet and thinking solid ground as soon as you graduate.

About a day...but I break it up. I record myself talkin' one day. The next day, I knock it out. I can't take too much time because there would be no time left to make this movie!!! But it's fun and worth it to me. I was always the "inclusive" sort so I hope this helps people!!!

Since you can't mention anything about the movie I thought I'd let people know what it's about. There is a particular character in a certain context who has a conflict. He (she/it) tries and fails and tries and fails. Then he tries and succeeds (Happy Ending!) or tries and fails (Immortal Tragedy!). You use your fabulous technique to express the following emotions: hurt, anger, determination, humiliation, orgasm, rage and good vibrations.

All your thoughts are great. I've received deals to do this project in flash, but I turned it down because I had a specific look in mind.  I also contemplated doing it myself in a very stylized fashion. I may return to that thought. But as of now...this has so much momentum from other parties that I'm gonna see how serious they are first before tackling it on my own.

I am just finishing film school and I am trying to scrape together the financing for my thesis movie (which is 25 min long) - I have so far gotten around 8000 dollars from school, but I hope to get more as I don't wanna shoot on HD, but 35mm.
