Your a great bass player. Thanks for your lessons. On one of your other lesson videos the way you were talking,...you really need to give yourself more credit as a bass musician. You don't suck. There are some major assholes you shouldn't give the time of day to. Also I think your funny, especially with the 6 string bass comment. People need to have a beer if they took that seriously. @vineyardedge I have seen some other musicians play that way. Guitar or bass I've seen this and sometimes after playing for a while the picking hand naturally may go to that position or they'll play over a certain pick up for certain tones.

Why do you play on the neck and not over the pickups? Geddy's known for the treble sound he gets out of it, not the softer ones. Fantastic job on that part anyways cuz it scared the hell outta me when i try lmao

I'm not sure why you have your "playing over the fretboard" warning. I look at the *entire* "picking area" from the bridge pickup to over the end of the fretboard as useful for attaining different tone: from the tighter "Jaco"-sound by playing over the bridge pup to getting closer to an upright bass tone on my fretless. IMO, it's all about what you're trying to achieve.

...but absolutely great performance - kudos!
