i have heard things on both and they are almost identical in handling. the brakes are marginally stronger on the duc . almost too much they said . hard to regulate and even rossi said that on the straight the desmo will always pull away .

i have one of each so . i root for stoner and rossi.

maybe. ninjas are very good, even better than gsx, no matter what anyone says, and 1k will take gsx1k and r1. But, on a closed curcuit, it will take a great skill and driving to take ducati out. what ducati lacks on street power it puts down on a track. My friend has a modded 996 Turbo and takes most 1k bikes without much trouble at curcuits, but ducatis are another cake. unlike other bikes, they glide through the curves, keeping speed and power almost constant.
