  • once you wait a week can you send the information back to the original 3ds

(only reply if you realy know the answer and have don it your self)

  • @SuperSuperRaccoon Master, there is a 100% probability that you can commence 3DS to 3DS transfer of your content up to 5 times. This includes your Friend Code, your Games, your Game Data your eShop Data etc..

  • @Hammid umm...is that a yes or a no

  • I tried this with my brother and it gave him all my memory plus his and I had to like start a new 3ds. what do I do

  • Ok my extra data was transferred 2 the new 3DS

  • Will my extra game data be transferred over 2 the new 3DS

  • @Torterrafan03 Master, there is a 99% probability that your Extra Game Data will be transferred to your new 3DS.

  • @Hammid LOL i think im the only one that got that zelda reference!

    Fi ROCKS!!!

  • Does this carry over your freind code, cuz i dont want to have to register all my friends again :(

  • @manlancer24 Yes, this process carries over EVERYTHING, including your Miis and Friend data (codes and all!).

  • Good video! Will you have the save files of the downloaded e-shop games after the transfer?

  • @Csonesz Yes! Your new 3DS will have the exact same data as your source 3DS after the transfer. Keep in mind that your source (old) 3DS will be wiped clean.

  • So, just to confirm, will this allow me to put my ambassador games on a new system if I, like you, upgrade to the special edition Zelda 3DS?

  • @naznatips Exactly! Sorry for my late reply. And Merry Christmas!

Just keep in mind that your source 3DS will be wiped after a completed transfer.

  • @Hammid hi hammid..i did the transfer too..but i had no time to change sd cards to the new 3ds system..when it asked me to put the source sd card for final stage of transfer just closed the cap and changed the cards..i hope it didnt cause any problems... cool video! :)

  • @crystalpurple Hi Crystalpurple! :D Nice. No it didn't cause any problems unless you wanted to transfer DSi-shop-games (like The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition) onto your new 3DS.

But since your shop data is transferred over to your new 3DS, you can just simply go ahead and re-download them from the eShop.

  • I went to nintendo(dot)com and they said if you press do not delete or something like that then the target system will not lose all its data but it will still take the info from the source system and add it to its own. Hmm I feel like something bad will happen if I do the transfer. Forget it I still used my black 3ds and I don't want it wiped clean of everything.

  • Wait I have stuff on my new 3ds cause the transfer system didnt come out when I got it. What If I got two of the same things on both 3ds's can I transfer some stuff but keep others?

  • @max536drago Hmm… I believe everything on the TARGET 3DS is replaced with EVERYTHING from the SOURCE 3DS.

I didn't have the option to choose what and what not to transfer, so I guess the target 3DS would be wiped off its current information.

But why would you not want to have all the information from the 3DS you had before?
