  • Wonderful, I am just venturing in this world can you please refer me any books or articles where I can learn the righ techniques and what not. I believe the key ingredient to be practice, it might take me a whole day to attempt what you did but maybe after 100 "whole days" I can do a 15 minute sketch aswell.

  • i visited your site i love it!

  • i love perspective drawing.. yeah i was actually wandering what the building was lol.. cause I usually start with the inside when Idesign a building.. I should definitely try sketching whatever comes to my mind... something new wud be good for me.. and thanks a lot for ur video!

  • waaa. when i try this it looks like crap...awesome

  • E ae cara! Muito bom!!Parabéns..

  • i wanna be an archi, but, i don't know how draw like that....:(((

  • Sorry that you have so many haters. If only they knew how much training leads to these results.

  • @fight4gipper1 no need to feel sorry, it's actually the other way around to be honest. in an ideal world, we learn from each other - through both our successes and mistakes - and strive to uplift the standards of our skills and talents. unfortunately, we're living in the real world. haters are there to remind us on how much we have already achieved. :)

  • @raisonjohn So do you have a career in Architecture??

  • @raisonjohn So do you have a career in Architecture??

  • @fight4gipper1 yes, you may visit my website at wix.com/lestudioderaison/architects to see some of my selected works/projects and highlights of my career in Architecture. Thanks!

  • ang bilis nmn hnd q makuha

  • way too bad

  • @vardinon150 Thanks, that was the intention of this video. Anything else to add?

  • You are brilliant...Two thumbs up.

  • @dht274 Thanks!! I really appreciate your comment! :)

  • Oh Cool !!!

  • Very nice. . . A skill like this is priceless. In front of a client sometimes you need to produce something like this. . . Sometimes an architect needs more than Sketchup skills. . .

  • Love it wish i was so good like that because i want to be a interior designer i am not sure if there is any similarity but oh well hehehe

  • cool

  • You can gimme 15 mintues, and i can onli draw stickmans for u.

  • damn! u're good!!! thumbs up!

  • @franocruz87 Thanks for the comment and for watching the video. I really appreciate it! :)

  • im gonna make it 2 hours just for the sketch...

  • OMG JUST AMAZING!!!

  • @sarah29997 Thanks sarah! :)

  • che troiaio

  • The black all over just spoils it!

  • I am really interested in architecture and I want to become an architect someday. I am currently majoring in civil engineering. I would like to know what the path of an architect is like. Did you take a lot of art classes? What do you find difficult , enjoyable, etc..?

  • I dont think i want to be an architect anymore. That was too insane!

  • I like the pic man. I also like your choice of Music, it goes with the speed of your drawing. Good job on the work and keep it up. I hope to get this far in my drawing one of these days.

  • @thecrazymind2010 Thanks bro... Just never get tired of practicing how to sketch and i'm sure you will surpass my skills in drawing :)

  • very nice perspective i like it

  • @DELEX0GODLESS Thank you so much! :)

  • Yo dibujo mejor.

  • Why is anyone saying negative comments about this. It would take me over an hour to achieve half the 'amazingness' of this sketch, which he accomplished in 15 minutes. Amazing. Truly.

  • @SorryWTFAreYouSaying Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate it. Negative comments are, sadly, part of life since many people are affected by the things that one does - whether good or bad.

  • Looks coooool. Thanks for sharing! ~

  • @BELIEVEintheWAY you're welcome! and thanks also for watching! :))

  • can i guess?....ur studying arcitecture ??

  • @addo1001 yes, since 2000.

  • u are sooo pro :D i am trying to learn how to draw like that, but i'm having alot of trouble :P.

  • @Funnyshoes321 never give up! :))) it's thru persistence, determination, and hardwork that one learns a new skill :)

  • HA, i was just speed sketching with a simple average pen and did a monk, luke skywalker, and a guy with a gas mask(sort of like killzone), yoda in about 20min.

    quality of sketches are good

  • So how you actually became an architect ?

  • That's great, man.

  • It's cool. But all that sketching and shadowing takes away from the structure of the building. I really can't tell what the building is.

  • @icynezz Thanks for sharing your observation. Much appreciated :)

  • @raisonjohn well, i thought this was a beautiful and lively sketch. It looks like a building to me.

  • @icynezz this type of drawing doesn't exactly have to show the exact construction of the building or it's structure with max details. it's important to present the main concept of it, it's feeling, character.

  • @icynezz either you dont know how to read a description or your blind...

  • @rspots why are you getting so offended.. ? its my opinion. i can write what i want. just because its a sketch doesnt mean it cant be structural.. -_-

  • @icynezz i can write what i want too....? i honestly don't see where your going with this.

  • how old are you ? o.o

  • @mrpedromig I'm 28 years old.

  • Yes, very nice. I wish I could draw like that. I'd bring the drawings to work, and set them on my desk and anyone who was leaving the company would reccommend me for an illustrator's job, should anything happen to my job. Just a thot.

  • GREAT!

  • @s8thMPkar98 THANK YOU!

  • (Y)

  • how long have you been sketching?

  • @moonera51 when I made this video, a little over 3 years. but irregularly (depending on my free time)

  • @raisonjohn cool. I just started and my teacher said that Im too technical with my lines when it comes to sketching

  • @moonera51 yes, same experience when I was starting out. i learned that sketching is all about being "loose" and "thinking with your hand" - not worrying about erasures, errors, or extended lines... what you need to concentrate on are: scale, proportion, and composition.

  • @raisonjohn Thanks for the advice! really appreciate it!

  • fuck sketchup & 3dmax

  • @madomanc LOL :)))

  • That was sexy. :) haha

  • @xXKhaoticRinoXx haha thanks! :))

  • Very cool.

  • @808sandDreams Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

  • awesome!

  • @TheIronicBanana Thanks for the comment! :)

  • nice

  • @zib3nz Much thanks! :))

  • great even drawing. I noticed you using the grey marker over top of your black ink pen. Doesn't that wreck your grey marker...getting black ink all over the felt on the grey. I usually photocopy the sketch and then use marker.

  • @CanadaGuy80 Hi! The grey marker you're referring to is actually a black pentel pen (the third and last pen i used for the shadows and darkest areas). The previous pen marks were dried enough for me to use the next pens without wrecking its tips. Also, the paper I use is non-glossy, so, no worries about getting smudges et. al on the pen tips. I also like the idea of photocopying the sketch... although I use it when I do watercolor on paper after a pencil/pen sketch :)

  • a little salt and peppa beat in the background. Nice.

  • dude ur hacking....but THAT IS GEE

  • gusto qng video n e2,,very helpful kpag my esquisse.lol

isa lng ung vp.and the other is all estimated but proportional.nice

  • Thumbs up! :))

  • @xenoslaura Thank you so much! :)))

  • where do you work?

  • @AsurorusA I have my own office, Le Studio de Raison... check out our works at our facebook page

  • @raisonjohn your own architectural firm?

  • @AsurorusA yes, my own firm - finally :)

  • @raisonjohn Wtf Wow nice.. *gets jealous

  • great work ser. alam nyo po ba yung technique sa 2 pt perspective na mukang 1 pt lang..

  • @dreicuns salamat. eto un... ung 2pt perspective na 1pt lng. if u notice sa video only 1pt lng (sa may left side ng building) ung makikita mo sa paper... ung isang pt sa right side - estimate lng... kaya halos parang elevation ang effect

  • this job/specialty really is brain twisting.

  • beautiful, for floor plans rendering visit:

    2dplan.com

  • very nice but can u do it slower

  • Wow very cool man, Im hoping to get into Uni next year to become a architect!

  • @jambo262626 Thanks man! Best of luck in your studies and career!

  • @jambo262626 Don't do it.... immensely difficult qualification to attain with an equally difficult industry to get a job in. Probably one of the only professions where almost everything you learn in degree you will have to disregard when you go into the working environment. Plus the salary potentials aren't all they are cracked up to be! Then again, it's your life...

  • @jonmills5465 Why don't you change it then to something easier that pays off more?? I'd say just do what you love, and take the end result as a bonus.

  • @B0g0ev Because it's too late for me, I'm already addicted lol. My colleges and I often joke that practising architecture the equivalent to a drug addiction. You have to take the highs with the lows, but if you are not careful... it can kill you lol.

In all honestly I'd recommend architecture to anybody who is serious about learning & practising it. Nothing beats the thrill, as long as they are aware that they are signing up for hard graft & not Hollywood's wayward portrayal.

  • @jonmills5465 Well it's never late to do anything. Though I am wondering if it's late for me to get back on track cause I fall behind most of my colleges due to my low language level... I've came to Italy to study architecture, with 2 months advanced language course. IS IT LATE? Or do I just suck? :P

  • @B0g0ev waw thats cool, i'd love to study in Italy. Where are you originally from? My girlfriend is an italian architect funnily enough lol. She started off studying in Milan & then moved to Lille in france to finish off her studies. We now live in Brighton in the sunny UK. Anywho like you say it's never too late, you'll pick up!

  • dam do you want to be an arcetect or wat

  • @edselcadillac No, I don't want to be an arcetect. I'm an architect.

  • really bad trees

  • @kacprfso ok. anything else?

  • w0w..nice work dude..do u have any tips on how to make these w/ a pen> because unfortunately, i'm only good w/ a pencil..hehe..

keep on doing what ur doing!!

  • @chickwa18 thanks! i've sent you a comment on my other video about tips on how to use pen instead of pencil :)

  • its such a shame that youre creating such amazing work and we cant see it because of your camera xD

    stunning work

  • @yrsmilekillsme much thanks! it takes too long to upload HD vids here... :( that's why i had to lower the resolution to decrease the file size... but thanks for appreciating my work :)

  • Angas sir. I'm an architect student myself but I'm still having trouble drawing in perspective. Nice vid :)

  • im so happy i was born with this trait. i feel bad for people who really have to practice

  • Breath taking.. This is art more than anything. Sitting here trying to find some inspiration for a design project at Uni, and this helped me a lot!

Awesome mate! Keep up the good work!

  • @Edgac Thanks for your time watching my video... and I'm glad to have helped you one way or another :) Good luck in your project!

  • wow.what a nice sketch... how i wish i have this skills...

  • @gailalvarez2009 Thank you so much! Just have the determination, the right learning, and constant practice - you can develop any skill that you want to learn. :)

  • can you do a tutorial on drawing architectural people? you are really good!

  • @pianoviolinflute89 I'll see what I can do... I have several portrait sketches videos but havn't made a tutorial on architectural entourage (i.e. people, vehicles, trees, etc.). Thanks for the compliment! Really appreciate it ;)

  • how old are you?

  • @joankamberaj I'm 27

  • I've looked at your other sketch drawings. You are pretty good at drawing. I want to be an architect. Good at drawing, just need to focus on my studies.

  • @Chippychops7 Thanks for checking out my works. I agree, it is important to set your goals and find the right motivation so you will be focused at achieving your career.

  • not a huge fan of the tree on the left

    but the rest was nice

  • Yeah. should of been another palm tree. But the building is nice

  • Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I agree... could've done better with the landscaping hehe... :)

  • you make it look easy! nice man!

  • much thanks! hope you liked it

  • Impressive! Have you ever tried any software-based designing?

  • Hi! Thanks for the compliment! :)

Yes I am familiar using Autodesk CAD, VIZ / 3D Max, and Sketch-Up in some of my designs before. I usually use these programs for detailing and finalizing my initial conceptual designs (i.e. my freehand sketches).

  • That's great. My company uses 3D Max.

  • wow!

  • @epicsorrow29

    thanks!! :))

  • well he has some talent

  • @SS6BRANDON

thanks! i really appreciate it :)

  • no prob ur did it out of ur brain and its awsome

  • Comment removed

  • parang building sa gitna ng luntian? anywayz cool kababayan. marami kang maiinspire nyan

  • @BadrMishal thanks!! :))

  • wow ..ur really good.. would i be right in sayin your an architect.. if so is it a very stressful job..?

  • damn i still need to work on my shading.. i can never get it right..

  • @mnr8788 just continue practicing. there are different techniques for the shading, like cross-hatching. the important thing is, you need to control the pen pressure in shading because you want to have a gradual pattern rather than a flat one. also, take note on where the source of light is located in your drawing so that you know which sides you need to shade.

  • Wow that's awesome! :D How thick was the first pen you used?

  • @adstr123, thanks so much! :)) the first pen was a regular sign pen: Pilot Hi-Tecpoint V5, almost available in every school supplies store. it doesn't say what thickness it is but my estimate is it's comparable to a 0.2 to 0.3 technical pen.

  • so cool *0*!!! draw me something lol jk xD! but wow amazing

  • hi! thanks! really appreciate ur comment... what do u like? maybe if i have time, i'll try to squeeze in ur request in my next sketch... (hope its an architectural structure hehe)
