She should have taken it all that year. She's totally special. I knew it as soon as she started singing "More Today Than Yesterday". I moved to the edge of my seat and said something like "I can't believe she chose that song....that's a great song"....I just sat and stared in disbelief as she drove the song better than Pat Upton did. I really couldn't believe it. Then she sang "Hopelessly Devoted To You" and I was sold. I'm still in love with her.

Imo, the 2 worst that night were Kady & either Kristy or Ramiele. I really liked Carly,Amanda,Brooke,Asiah,Alex­andrea,and Alaina alot. Them and David C.,Jason, Michael, Robbie, David A., and Danny would have made an AMAZING Top 12!!!!

The difference between competitive singer and professional singer is : the later singing freely singing as they like sing. On the otehr hand the first is bondaged with jurys and the voters singing as they shoud sing.

So you will never enjoyed a competition song fully.

It was a dissappointment to know that america was stupid, but it was predictable to know america was stupid. I mean common, america voted for Bush... twice! so from that point of view, it's not such a shock. At least one of the two best singers were picked.

Techinically, it was onyl through the electoral college that Bush won the second election. In reality, he did not recieve more individual votes, but recieved more electoral votes, whcih is what counts in the Presidential election. Meanwhile, in this, you have people able to mass vote/text/slash use dialers that skew the results. Amanda was the only girl of Top 12 that I absolutely couldn't stand being there.

i disagree. kady's voice is much more unique, it has a tenderness that alaina's voice lacks. you can really hear it on "who wants to live forever" and especially her audition.
