Not true, not at all, I don't doubt you can, and many more, but a lot of people cannot, I know artists who are really good painting (real paint) but can't do nothing even acceptable in a computer, I also know several people who are amazing in sketchbook, ps, etc, but don't know the techniques needed to paint adequately.
