The word is CLUTCH! The most important trait in a player is the ability to rise to the occasion and Linden had that. 2 goals in game 7, i believe it was the tying goal against the czechs in nagano before what shall not be mentioned, and even when he was a role player at the tail end he put up 7 points in a series. Heart and soul, he deserved a cup more than most.

If hockey is about how many you score, Naslund is the greatest Canucks. But we all know that's not true. It's about WHEN you score them. This guy was a 4th liner, and still helped Vancouver to beat a team 2 years ago that they had no business beating in 7 games. Sure, you had Louie and Captain Kirk, but Trevor made you believe that against all odds you always had a chance if you gave it everything you had.

I completely agree with you. The music HNIC used in the early 90's was fantastic, I wish they brought it back.

Unfortunately this series didn't go the way us Nuck fans wanted, but at least we have the memories of an unforgettable run.
