  • McCain is such a sell-out. He'll say or do anything to get votes. What a disgrace. He used to have my respect.

  • John McCain, you're dropping like a rock in the polls, thank God, what a disgrace you are,, McCain/Kennedy McCain/Feingold Amnesty, Gang of 14, I call for your ass to resign, You are a war hero turned Benedict Arnold.....

  • Man you are so right. I'm so sick of these holier then though, REPUBLICANS, turing on each other. Why do we have to be the good guy! Look how the Dems, defend their guys! Clean house get rid of these Rhino Republicans!

  • Craig is a hypocrite and I think all of the repug lawmakers calling for his resignation but were silent about Vitter are also hypocrites.

  • Whose Vitter? Is he like Foley?

  • A guy who made a huge mistake who is gettin ghis character assasinated years after the fact. He has long since made the proper steps to reconciling with hs family and it is sad that private information was made public after it was long resolved.

  • Come on, John. Don't you understand. Minnesota is the most democratic and liberal state in the nation (except Mass.) Of course they are going to try to nab Sen. Craig. Those liberal Minnesotans will stop at nothing to get rid of conservatives. Its entrapment. Wake up America and exonerate this man. The Minnesota democrats owe this man an apology. Can't you see, the cop must have been a liberal, its in Minnesota, for God's sake. My God, what's wrong with you people? Minnesota must be stopped

  • You don't know much about Minn. The St Paul Airport is extremely notorious for closet gays to go to for such behavior. Almost all the cops I know in th city of very conservatives.

Craig was disgraceful and this is no vast left wing conspiracy. I as a Republican voter say that this man should resign.

  • I stand corrected. thank you.

  • Always liked John McCain.... right up to the point where he willingly let Bush sodomize him...

Of-course it was a politically sodomization, instead of physically one in an airport men's room... but no-less disgraceful.

I still respect McCain and his service, I believe him to be a decent man at his core...but surely...not kicking the shit out of Bush for the crap he pulled, and then giving him his full support, will be his worse political failing.

  • REPUBLICANS: Give this comment a thumbs down!

  • mccain is as much of a bitch as craig.

  • What's even more amazing to me is that Hetero's in prison for committing Murder have the right to date and get married just because they are hetero's even though they committed murder, supposedly the worst sin of all. I suppose all those anti-gay politicians and religionists think gay people are worse than murderers?

  • Unlike the Democrats, Republicans tend to clean house quickly. Graig pled guilty to a crime, and must resign. I won't hold my breath waiting for Democrat, William Jefferson(90K in my freezer), to do so. He was too busy speaking to his constituents at Dillard University, in New Orleans, the other day. He looked mighty nervous, but I didn't hear anyone in the audience calling for his head.

  • I think the McCain should resign also because he is worst than the other senator. He has continue push towards occupation in Iraq and the troop surge. Which are not working at all.

  • I dont agree with McCain on a lot of issues but he is a good senator.

  • wont save your sinking campaign...John McPAIN!

  • Desperate attempt to resuscitate his presidential campaign?

  • You can see that the GOP are learning a lesson from the beating they got over how they dealt with the Mark Foley debacle. After losing both houses of Congress in the subsequent election, many are jumping on the bandwagon to condemn Craig, when what Foley did was actually much worse, but they took a wait and see approach. No matter. It's too little, too late. Their hypocrisy of "moral" leadership has once again been exposed, to the disgust of the general public.

  • Bomb bomb.... Iran

  • Operation Freedom Huh? Nuclear Weapons sounds like a familar story. I feel sad for our under educated soldiers here in America. They fail to see how the war has crashed internal enemies and created a huge national debt. How can you help build another nations economy when our economy here needs reconstruction the most? Look at new orleans? Wow!

  • McCain flip flops so much I think I will wait to see what he says tomorrow before I take him seriously.

  • McCain making this move to gain some press/air time and reach out to the conservatives. Good play on his behalf, unfortunately it's far too late to save his run for office.

  • or maybe he's just a zealous homophobe hoping to score some points w/ the Falwell crowd

  • qwerty4197: It's not Craig's homosexuality that offends so many of us. It's his nasty midwestern rightwing, anti-gay Republican hypocrisy.

Were gays not so much persecuted in this country, many people could have normal lives and not have to hide their true sexual orientation, harming their own families [and other gays] by a combination of sham marriage and bullyboy propaganda against their brothers under the skin. ...Not that ANYTHING would likely have helped Sen. Craig and HIS lying ilk.

  • I'm not trying to speak for you; I'm trying to discern McCain's motive since he's doing so bad right now in the polls

  • qwerty4197: I understand that. But even pols who aren't doing well in the polls sometimes speak as they find. I see nothing inconsistent between McCain's point that a confessed lawbreaker should not continue to serve in the Senate, & his usual straight-arrow stance: I think he's speaking his conviction. I'm not a McCain fan: his convction on the Iraq war is disastrous. But I hold with his clearly correct observation that an hypocritical, confessed criminal should be gone from the Senate.

  • nbwulf: There's nothing 'unfortunate' about McCain's campaign being over the hill: see his disgraceful Baghdad market tour claims? Notice his campaign running out of money w/ nothing to show for it? We're gonna need someone with decent economic good sense after what Bush has done to us... not to mention good military and diplomatic sense and the ability to tell the truth...

    or even to recognize it.

  • Ive been without internet for 4 days....its the only source for media I turn to. So nice having channels like TMPtv, Veracifier, and CspanJunkie when you want to catch up.

  • we're glad you're watching! make sure you check our website too... we've got more news there.

  • McCain.... go head, weed whack the bush so Ron Paul can take over.

McCain made a factual statement. But he wont be our president. Not by a longshot.

  • McCain has never been taken seriously as a President, and never will be. That's why you see this sort of action from him.

  • Did you listen to what he said James1844? That a Senator who is CONVICTED of a CRIME should NOT serve. I see no moral judgment there.

  • james1844: Childish.

  • that's basically what max blumenthal said in our interview with him today -- check it out. it's on our website - veracifier dot com - but his quips with giuliani and romney are a little more searing. still, it's ironic that the right-wing family men are not so hot as family men, isn't it?

  • I didn't see this coming from a republican. I would have thought when you're running for president you'd stay away from these types of controversial issues... he's might just be taking an aggressive stance behind this to get to Mitt Romney.

  • Maybe for a frontrunner... But someone like McCain would benefit from a wildly thrown "3 point shot" in hopes of getting ahead somehow.
