Fedex is paid by the shipper. If the shipper had asked for direct delivery, then someone at your home would have had to sign for it. The shipper sets the delivery date and how it is delivered by when they have the pick up and what delivery options they pick. You may be putting the blame in the wrong place. Just saying...

@bleedadream777 As long as the paperwork, markings and package are all in compliance with Federal Gov't, IATA and FedEx standards, you can ship any hazardous material that is not banned for air transport. We ship paint all the time, mostly for airlines and military.
