  • Lol at the top commenter thinking they know the key to being a good person. Your not special we all know what you're talking about is true. STOP TRYING TO BE GANDI.<--irrelavent but who cares....

  • is that the guy from hang ov... holy fuck its him!

  • Mad beard hair on duh micccc. But anways, love Andy Hull and Manchester Orchestra. <3

  • song makes no sense. any interprets? great song.

  • 6 people need to shake it out.

  • Gosh this song makes me so happy =D

  • These Myspace Transission videos are awesome

  • For any drum nerds such as myself, especially gear wise, does anyone know if Jeremiah plays Paiste 2002 series all the way around? I cant tell. I know his ride is definitely a 2002 ride, but I cant tell about the other ones.BTW I miss his drumming, the new guy is good, but he had more energy live, I think personally.

  • @constantdrummr I'm not 100% sure but from the videos it sure looks like 2002's all the way around.

  • I love how energetic and powerful this song is, and yet, if you were to put this video on mute, you would never be able to tell.

  • God they sound so good live

  • i hate sitting on cold toilet seats

  • Whoever mixed this didn't do a good job..

Great performance by the band as always tho.

The hot sessions did a better mix

  • Zach Galfianakis?? He's drugged them all, I know it.

  • I just listened to this song 7 times, good heavy bag song, especially the explosion at the end

  • damn great song but the bass is super out of tune in the slow part....ruined it

  • @Joeman4200 The bass is completely in tune throughout. I think it's cos he's playin the root notes under the other instruments and in that part they're all playing fifths and thirds so it's difficult to hear what the root note is

  • Grow up for goodness sake.

Music isn't about knowing a not-well-known band or artist.

It's not about bragging about hearing a song first.

More exposure is brilliant for the band. They get more money, so more concerts, so more tours, so more albums.

Can't believe people these days are so freaking selfish with music. Since when did it become so materialistic.

  • @Omnitrix2008

lol... everyone makes fun of hipsters but they don't realize their own hipster "i knew em when they were struggling b4 everyone" mentality

    lol ppl are silly.

you are 100% right! music is just about music... the more people you can share it with, the better.

  • does the second guitarist remind anyone else just a bit of steve buscemi? great performance btw

  • the best singers are the ones that get lost in the meaning of the song that it doesn't matter that they change up a few words or miss a note here and there. the intensity and conviction this band has is inspiring.

  • the coolest thing they do is the muting he does right before he says "speak to me"

  • andy kinda butchered the lyrics in a couple spots, but impressive nonetheless

  • 0:19 intense tamborine

  • @watsupwithedarkside That shit's important.

  • Everything about this band is so awesome.

  • this guy is like ben gibbard but with a beard and he sings more agrresively

  • @ejc1414 no no no. Ben gibbard is so much more talented. He plays drums, piano, and guitar. Writes all of their music and lyrics, and sings. Ben gibbard has no one to match his style and skill.

  • @LesPaulSmIth92 Ben Gibbard is pretty talented but I don't think he's THAT talented.

  • @ejc1414 I don't see that connection at all.

  • 1:34 Andy almost said

"We Shall see" Instead of "We will see"

    Great song anyways. <3

  • Such a jammin' song. Definitely one of my favorites to listen to and play drums to.

I liked it so much I decided to put some drums to it, and make a drum cover.

Although nothing can top how great the original is, I can promise I play some rockin drums, and you won't regret checking my cover out :D

It and my other song covers are on my page! Check em out!

  • Indians hat!

  • Awesome, is there much more to say?

  • just fucking amazing raw, intense but discrete at the same time awsome !

  • wow

  • i love his screams! so raw!!! :)

  • ZACH GALAFINAKIS can sing???? :D

  • @stikrstickers haha thats what i was thinking

  • The guy playing the Gretch needs a haircut/shave/lip tuck...

  • They are fucking awesome.

  • What's amazing about Manchester Orchestra is that they sound just as amazing live as they do recorded. Not like other "artists".

  • i feel bad for that drum kit, getting the hell beaten' out of it all the time lol

  • @ 0:19 He looks so serious! Lmao

  • That final scream gave me chills.

  • dave grohls amazing.......

  • @kstreet26 lol

  • You guys fucking rock!

  • 1:31 the guitarist looks like a younger less talented dave grohl

  • Good Stuff- A bands band- Glad to see people are still rocking-

  • Too good

  • i think its the same place where Underoath records their stuff... im i wrong!? cause i think this is in atlanta...

  • @philgecko youre thinking of Glow in the Dark Studios in atlanta, georgia. But no, this isn't it. although youre right it does look really similar.

  • I love this band pure music

  • Can anyone tell what kind of mic that is that Andy is singing into?

  • @VaasUp that would be a Shure sm7b microphone. theyre actually designed for radio broadcasting but they work pretty well with vocals with high input levels. a lot of heavy bands use it to record loud vocals and screams.

  • The part that goes quiet gives me goosebumps every time.

  • 2:35 - 5:15

Easily the best break to climax in a song that I've ever heard, I blast this part everytime! It's sooooo fucking AMAZING! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

  • @DesAllen7 i agree 100000000%.

  • the guitarist 1:28 should wipe the hot choc foam from round his mouth

  • sounds insanely like the record amazing

  • I just wanna give Andy Hull a big bear hug and listen to him jam all day!!!! Man Orchestra are amazing to me <3

  • Great band. I just don't get why they play SOOO fast live!!!!

  • more exposure? I like them they way they are.

  • @pittsburgh199 I agree. The problem with exposure is that the more have, the more your prone to make changes in the music. i.e. (Coldplay- Parachutes vs. Mylo Xyloto)

  • @musicnerd225488 artists change all the time if they are good, regardless of exposure

  • @pittsburgh199 Go fuck yourself. It isn't about you, its about whats best for the band.

  • @NJStew22 Im sorry buddy, Go back to occupying wall street now.

  • i think they deserve way more exposure

  • OMG Love this song awesome

  • I MISS JEREMIAH! why did he have to leave the band :(

  • damn, i think more attention needs to be given to the bassist, the bass lines in this song have great feel and melody.

  • @mg618 yeah the bassist's rifts are amazing in alot of their songs.

  • @mg618 the bass locks in perfectly w the kick and snare

  • haha watch the drummer hes great

  • he's a little to intense on that floor tom smh, it's beautiful

  • the bass line at 2:55 is orgasmic.

  • @SomeMexican4 I'm guessing he meant 1:55 and yes..it is pimp..played perfect and punchy

  • lord is his favorite word

  • awesome, just awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • god damn this band fucking RULES

  • where did the drummer come from? he is sick. great vocals too

  • chris freeman is so fucking bodacious he makes the tambourine look badass :D

  • it must be hard beng a drummer

  • i love this band more and more everday. thank god there are still good musicians left in this world

  • I can express how I fell about manchester orchestra with four words: band of the decade

  • i love the guy with the tambourines mustache

  • No matter how loud this video already is, I HAVE to turn it up louder at 1:54.

  • Can't get enough of M.O.....refreshing songs plus they just seem so damn 'real'....not some egotistical, plastic band.

  • I play this song in my car whenever I have a bad day at work and SCREAM the "Oh God you gotta shake it out!" part. It's amazing how much it releases all of that frustration.

  • @SorrowToSerenity i do the same thing

  • @SorrowToSerenity haha, same dude

  • Comment removed

  • i tottaly agree its an instant fix after you shout that bit

  • @SorrowToSerenity Yes! I am the same way!!!!

  • @SorrowToSerenity The only thing better is "The River" and just BELTING out "Oh God I need it!"

  • yes best and these guys kick ass live

  • best Manchester Orchestra song ever?

  • This song is great. And yea its good medicine for bringin you out of a shitty mood lol.

  • unbelievable live... incredibly tight. :O

  • i love how he hold the interlude for an extra two phrases. and also i love how tight they sound because they record all their albums live tracking ASKDJGASGD so good.

  • reminds me of bear vs shark

  • very true. damn i miss that band

  • IAM a sad motherfucker and this brings me back up from the lords fn dirt to the person below me u are thumps up

  • I had a reallly bad day so i put this song on as loud as it could go and sang along while bouncing around like an idot n shaking my head around .....and damit i feel better!..... try it some time

  • Amazing!

  • i saw these guys live supporting Biffy Clyro, they were epically good :)

  • i really cant believe you guys are worried that he "changed" the lyrics...

its their song, they can do whatever they want

they play these songs over and over and over

change is bound to happen, post album

  • gonna see these guys live in denver sooooo exited!!!!!

  • So glad this band is finally getting the exposure they deserve.

  • @tailwhoop nice to see someone not call them 'sell outs' just because they got a little bit of popularity.

  • absolutely epic

  • i love the vocals on this track. Great band. Very original sound.

  • sounds just like the CD amazing <33

  • It's just you

  • Lyrics say "I felt the world begin to peel off all my skin," but I swear he says "Lord."

  • i think he might of changed them after the album cos he always says lord live now.

  • I agree..

  • did he mean to mess up the lyrics?

  • more than likely

  • is it just me or does the guitarist look like dave grohl lol

  • @youfailme2116 In the nirvana days haha.

  • thats what im sayin man! haha

  • I KNOW YOU IRL :) spam i know

  • i never thought that an intro like that could be layered so perfectly to sound complex and emotional.

  • when the rest of the band comes in at 3:24 it's just a fucking massive wall of sound/awesomeness

  • i thought exactly that. it gave me chills

  • So amazing. Gives me chills everytime.

  • I wonder what kind of amps they used for this?

  • Brad (lead singer?) uses fender and the other guy uses VOX AC30 or AC15 from what i saw. I saw them live with Biffy clyro; they were fucking awesome. I'd never heard of these guys before: they're actually amazing!

  • andy hull :)

  • @IsaacDeano93 they arrrre haha but the lead singer is andy hull i'm not sure who you meant
