  • I agree i had a great uncle and great grandfather over there in 1917 US ARMY.

    my great uncle died on a tractor fire in 1922 . then his memory was forgotten till my mother found his army photo in the family farm house before that burned down.my great grandfather became civil engineer an help build the first airports an highways.

    these ppl were amazing ppl gave there lives for there country an asked for nothing in return. the least we could do is have a national memorial.

  • I wish they would take ww1 more serious there are hardly any games,movies or books about ww1 such a shame they had the same bloodshed same tears same love as in ww1,ww2 and vietnam such a shame :[

  • @rla1978x There's a book from 1938 called "Johnny Got His Gun" about a US Soldier in World War I gets wounded. Because of his wounds, he lost his arms and legs, and he couldn't hear, see, or talk.

  • wow this is a shame, why is it that everyone has forgotton about ww1. We should give atleast something to honor the ones who never came back and rebuild this memorial. what a shame.
