Rob Dougan has some good music that works well for backgrounding anything that has a lot of action, but I kind of think all his stuff sound about the same. His stuff isnt bad, its just that almost every track he does just sounds like a variation of a previous one.

When I was in the final year of my undergrad (3 years ago) me and my housemate at the time noticed a trend in music across BBC programmes. Most of them drew from a relatively small number of albums (Leftfield - "Leftism," "Furious Angels" by Rob Dougan, Aphex Twin's "Selected Ambient Works '85-'92 / Selected Ambient Works II",  "White Lines / Mezzanine" by Massive Attack and "Play" by Moby.
