  • Jesus is coming back let's all be ready like these people are here

  • I can"t stop to praise the soon and coming King

  • I was there at this conference. Absolutely wonderful!

  • This is Landmark Tabernacle The Pentecostals of Denver in Denver Colorado Pastored by Rev. Billy E. Hale. The most amazing church, preaching and worship you will ever experience. !!! There is no denying a God once you have encountered His Presence in a service like this one!

  • There is nothing greater than the sweet presence of God that fills the place when we pour out true worship! I love this!!

  • The Lord is the same Lord yesterday, today, and forever. I do not believe in lowering standards to keep teenagers in the church. It is a message that is tough to swallow sometimes, but I didn't write the bible. The standards are not outdated and neither is God's word. God does bless us that can keep to the standards. I have personally struggled too, but it is something I am willing to endure.

  • My good friend is the drummer in this video. Tim E! He used to be at our church in Moorhead, MN.

  • I always find it to be a marvel that when a man gets a new revlation of how to get closer to god it is doing less. If you look like to world how then will people know who you are. Please dont talk about men of God you are heaping hot coals upon your own head that you will have to answer for.God is moving in these last days if you dont worship god in spirit and in truth your knee will bow later.I pray that the NFL greats person is not bitter because of what somebody has done to them .JESUS 1 name

  • As an atheist, I am placed in the peculiar position of rejecting all religious belief, yet I acknowledge the undeniable reality that religion often produces some of the highest achievements of the human race. The Sistine Chapel, St. Basil's Cathedral, even the non-physical manifestations of spiritual belief. This song is wonderful and I appreciate it with a secular sensibility, though its entire focus and soul is religious. Something special happened here. There's no denying it. Beautiful.

  • @LiteraryWriter search kari jobe revelation song.

  • @Joseph4675 Thank you. Will do.

  • @TheNFLGreats Seems ya are goin to all the pages,,and causing trouble..Well that explains a lot..God bless you NFL...you need to get with the program...stop being in rebellion...

  • Comment removed

  • @TheNFLGreats ~ I didn't see earrings, jewellrey, or ladies wearing pants. If you did, they could have been new converts/visitor...and definitely they weren't on the platform.

AND....by the way, when does an organization, as the UPC, or any other, claims to be perfect ??? Organizations fail...people fail....but...we keep pressing onto the prize before us...We cannot answer for others, but one day, we as individuals will give an account to God, Himself !

  • This video made my day!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDD

  • Is this Brother Johnson's church? If so I've been there before.. it was awesome!

  • @1godpreacherdan No, Brother Johnsons Church is in Colorado Springs lol

  • @jordglad11 aha.. that's right. who's church is this then?

  • Acts and 1 Cor teach that tounges is a Godly practice, and that it should be sought after. Paul also gives rules that we must abide by when reciving this gift. As with many of God's gifts we must use it in accordance with God's word for it to be holy and meaningful. This discension in the ranks of Christians doesn't do anything for the Lord. No one is getting saved or witnessed to over this argument. Do not allow Satan to establish denominational barriers in your mind. Focus on Christ!

  • Does anyone know the name of this song. I forgot and I need it for church

  • I can agree with both of you on a certain level im a trinitarian and i believe in the holy ghost but i dont believe it is nessesary to be saved it takes reading and praying i dont think a drug dealer can walk into church and get saved, sanctified and filled with the holy ghost at the same time. Sure, ive heard of someone getting filled with the holy ghost at the same time as they get saved but only a few times. God can save them but they have to be sanctified to be filled with the holy ghost

  • @paintballlover1000 im sorry if i confused anyone up there i just read it and i see where i could have confused someone i meant to say you dont have to have the holy ghost in order to be saved

  • @TriuneApostolic Anyone who submits themself to God and seeks after his Righteousness, will receive the Holy Ghost. It is not about the idiotic bounderies that man sets up concerning religion. If you follow the clear statutes in the bible, and follow the plan of salvation, no matter what you happen to call yourself, you will go to heaven. I dare say that you are acting like the false prophet Baalam. Good bye teacher of lies. You will learn the hard way I guess. See you judgment day.

  • @TriuneApostolic Galations 1:7-9 speaks that if we or any angel preach any other gospel than that which is in the bible, let them be accursed. Revelations 22: 18-19 says that anyone who adds, or takes away any words from the bible they will have their part in Hell. So with that in mind, you are playing an awfully dangerous game by speaking against the Holy Ghost.

  • @TriuneApostolic Also... If you actually READ the entire new testement, you will find MANY circumstances where people received the Holy Ghost who sought God. How can you say that it doesn't happen? I have received it, and am renewed with it every day in prayer. I stood in a service where over 3,000 people were speaking in tongues, and have watched one person receive it during a bible study. God is no respecter of persons.

  • @TriuneApostolic

    1) they may have been languages that some understood, but they were always languages that the person themself never learned or knew.

    2) How can you say that when I received the gift of the Holy Ghost all by myself? There was no group of people, and I repeatedly get it when I am having my private prayer time? but since you insist on this silly idea Acts 9 Saul was converted and received the Holy Ghost as an individual after he spent 3 DAYS SEEKING for the Holy Ghost

  • Is there anywhere in the world to buy this song. Not even this version just something I could play all the time. I know its difficult to find apostolic music so anyone that reads this let me know.

  • @TriuneApostolic let me think back, I believe God has been showing his power to everyone in the bible so they can believe, Adam and Eve when they were kicked out from paradise, Moses...bunches of times, Pharaoh with all the plagues that were sent to Egypt and so on and on, we in 2011 are no more full of faith than all of them in the bible. So God in his mercy will continue to show his power so we may believe. but we are warned to read the bible cuz the enemy can also perform miracles.

  • @heartofwar74 I believe the trinity church came out of the church that worships idols. the acts church ( the first church that thought that Jesus is God) which was right after Jesus ascended to heaven, then when paul was put in jail then it was that Christians were to afraid to defend what the bible really said and started assisting a church where the only requisite was that they believe that Jesus died in a cross even if it meant keeping him on a cross as an idol to bow down to.

  • @rachelaguilar10 This person, TriuneApostolic, will never end his debate with you....i checked his youtube history and it seems all he does is post comments judging the way people worship and he will debate and try to hit below the belt so you will continue to debate him. He harassed me even after i told him we will "agree to disagree and told him i would pray for him and to please pray for me" He continued to send message after message to my personal youtube account because he likes to debate

  • I had to have him blocked from my youtube account because he would not stop. He likes to throw scripture around like he is some biblical scholar and debate with people about how they choose to worship. His actions are not coming from a Godly place at all....he is very insensitive because his way is the only way of worship, and if you worship like in this video, you are accused of doing it in the "flesh". Check his user name on Google and you will see his history. ALL DEBATES about worship.

  • I agree with you and you and i will keep on praising the lord the way we choose to praise!!

  • @TriuneApostolic Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. - Colossians 2 :8-9 Why is it that you have to avoid scripture for what it says? You say we add and take away from scripture, that is a lie. The truth is you are doing this very thing. Plus, you can't even accept history and what it says.

  • @TriuneApostolic okay so everyone knows that the first church was not a trinitarian it started in acts aproximately 30 a.d until 62 a.d which is where the apostles started to take the message and talked about what Christ had done guided by the Holy Ghost. In the Bible the word trinitarian is not found not one time. Constantine accepted Christianity in 313 a.d than in 325 Catholicism really started having their thing....and with a majority trying to teach a trinitarian God. Read da book of acts

  • @TriuneApostolic 2 Samuel 6:14 And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might...Exodus 15:20

Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dancing. Psalm 149:3 Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. Psalm 150:4 Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.

  • @TriuneApostolic you must have a sign that God is accepting your worship. right? how else in earth are you going to know if what you are giving him, is really being accepted by him, I mean, honestly we all know that God does not receive all worship, right? Prov. 29:23

A man's pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor. Jms 4:6

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE.

  • @TriuneApostolic I could never go back to a catholic church and go sit down in a bench...as if I were crying for a dead god, my God is alive and I am alive and I must worship...uhuh, his Holy word says John 8:32 New American Standard Bible (© 1995) "and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Lord has no truth made me more free than this...feeling his holy power has made more alive than when I used to do crack and club all weekend.

  • @TriuneApostolic John 4:24 New American Standard Bible (© 1995)

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." if you cant feel the worship, you must not be doing it right, I like to feel the power...that heat that God gives when you worship him like this, God created us to worship him psalm 150. Only those that are temporarily resting can no longer do this. but if you are alive you have to worship...i mean if you believe in him...right?

  • well i myself used to be trinitarian because that was what i was raised in. see i know what trinitarians beleive. i did the whole "asking the lord to come into my heart and become my personal savior", and got baptized in the titles TWICE, and had a love for God. Not taking anything away from you. im sure you have a relationship, and i am really interested in hearing what you have to say, but you've not given me anything at all.nothing i dont already know about you.

  • well i myself used to be trinitarian because that was what i was raised in. see i know what trinitarians beleive. i did the whole "asking the lord to come into my heart and become my personal savior", and got baptized in the titles TWICE, and had a love for God. • @TriuneApostolic what bible do you read???? who is a.t. robertson, albert barnes: ???

  • @TriuneApostolic most trinitarians i know don't know nearly as much as you do. they just repeat some sinners prayer that i might add is not even in the bible, and don't even bother reading it for themselves, and some don't even think bapitism is necessary. the word omnipresent and omnipotent aren't in the bible but i can show verses that back it up.

  • @TriuneApostolic once you get baptized, receive the holy ghost there is a something that comes over you that makes you want to praise him. You don't have to anything, but once you realize how much of a blessing it is, you just really want to. I don't know how to explain how it makes you feel. I can show you scripture back up what i say, but i don't know how to explain what comes over you when this happens. im sure you've might have had similar experiences.

  • @chrisjwilson8830 i enjoy doing these things because his prescence grow stronger and i receive a blessing when i "crucify my flesh" and do things that would other wise be uncomfortable for me to do. I want to give as much to God as I can, and it allows his spirit to move in a mighty way in a service when this happens.

  • @TriuneApostolic they didn't literally just stand up. they didn't receive the gift sitting down ding dong. these men were ready to for the promise that jesus was coming for them. honestly think about it. would you be sitting down in a event like this...the verse was just implying that peter was standing WITH the others not literally just stood up. i see what you misinterpreted but i don' think they were actually sitting..it doesn't say just think about it.

  • @TriuneApostolic would you call me crazy if i told you that Jesus is the Father, the son, and the holy ghost. go look at matthew 28:19 in your bible infact read verse 18 and it will say ALL power is given unto me in Heaven and Earth, and take notice in verse 19 when it's sames to baptize in the Name(singular) and go read what the ended up baptizing in acts. NEVER did the baptize the way trinitarians do in the titles. YOU should read your bible. Stick to the KJV and not the watered down version.

  • @TriuneApostolic Isaiah 45:21Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

  • @chrisjwilson8830 Isaiah 42:8I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Isaiah 46:9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

  • @TriuneApostolic your trinitarian and your telling me to read my bible? first off where did the word trinity or three Gods even was mentioned in the bible? There is only One Lord, One Faith, and One baptism (ephesians 4:5). im sure that you've heard this before but try finding anywhere in the bible where the baptizer baptized in the trinity it was always in the name of jesus.

  • @TriuneApostolic Answer me this. Why in all the hundreds and hundreds of verses written by David, does he edify us and encourage us to worship God in His santuary, by lifting our hands, shouting praises, playing musical instruments, and dancing? Do you believe all scripture was written by holy men moved by the Holy Ghost ?

  • @TriuneApostolic after reading all your posts, I came to one conclusion. The only thing that is debatable is YOU, sir. I pray Jesus opens your eyes to the truth of His word.

  • @TriuneApostolic are you really saying that this kind of worship isn't supported by God. I beg to differ. Everytime im in a service the spirit of the Lord moves upon me and something in me just cannot contain myself! In the book of acts im sure when the promise fell they didn't know how to control themselves. Get this it started in the upper room, and came out to the streets! Ppl in the streets even asked "what meaneth this"? "are these men drunk with new wine"?

  • @chrisjwilson8830 if you are apostolic im sure you understand that certainly understand that God chose the foolish things in this world to shame the wise. when i think of all the things that God has done for me, I REFUSE to stand there and not give him the praise for it!It is biblical that when the spirit moved upon the disciples in acts that the spirit gave them the utterance to speak in tongues, and this wasn't a language that was meant for others around to understand. They couldn't control it!

  • Mark 12:27 he is not the God of the dead, but of the Living!

man, i don't say something in the bible if you can't actually support it..you probably not even familiar with what "pentecost" is.

  • @TriuneApostolic I dont know what kind on unitarian church you assist...but I am so blessed and can honestly say that our services are always 100% like this without celebrations. funny cuz I never heard any apostolic church preach against celebrations such as this. every service should be like this for our Lord...since it seems like this is what we will be doing...(I mean the chosen ones) in heaven.

  • @TriuneApostolic So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet. 2 Samuel 6: 15

  • @TriuneApostolic When David danced before the Lord, he danced until his kingly robes fell off. He was not naked in the most literal sense. And why would you say it was not a worship service? The scripture plainly says And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals 2 Sam. 6:5

  • @TriuneApostolic i never said you could nt have joy when doing outside stuff, did I...No i didnt. Also i said that one worship is not any better than the other, but yet you wrote that "one would not bring us any closer to god than the other" well, i believe you just said the same thing i said! You can use all the scripture you want about decent and order but David danced in front of the lord and he was favored in Gods eyes. In fact, his wife was critical of him doing this....enough said.

  • @TriuneApostolic i respect the fact that when you worship God you do so with respect honor and reverence, but when i praise God i will do so with clapping, singing, even hopping. I really dont think one is more favored by GOD than the other. He made us all different so we are going to act different in how we communicate with him. Like you said, God sees our heart and if we are happy and want to clap and sing loudly, he knows why...he sees our heart :-)

  • This is something that i cant understand....Why is that we go to concerts, weddings, motivational seminars, etc... we can dance, sing and clap, and that is considered normal. But when we want to praise our GOD for all he has done for us, we are accused of "Not being respectful to GOD" or "Acting Crazy" ??? Where in the Bible does it say that it is direspectful? In fact, last time i checked, when you have joy in your heart you want to show it! I love to see people PRAISE the LORD!

  • @lc08kb08 I am so with you, people think that because we worship God we have to be boring, this are the services that should be an every day thing at every apostolic church...baptized in his name and by his holy power...people read psalm 150 worship ...John 4:24 New American Standard Bible (© 1995)

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." if y cant feel the praise and worship, then it must not be om spirit and truth...just read the Bible.

  • go go uPci proclaim that JEsus is the Lord

  • You call this amazing? Dancing, singing, jumping around in the church? Wow, this makes me sick.

This is some kind of sect.

  • @NemanjaPN34 i find it funny that people can go to a ball game and do whatever(paint themselves, scream and cuss, fight, jump the opposing teams fans) and someone is "sick" because ameican taxpayers are worshipping their God, a right that they have constitutionally. ironically, the only people that seem to have a problem with the worship, mention, or name of Jesus are liberals; a party that claims tolerance. i dont really care for the UPC as such, but they do have rights, free speech included.

  • I was reading a post about someone being from a conservative baptist church in OHIO i grew up going to a Pentecostal type church and now I go to a Southern Baptist Church that sings praise and whorship music and they raise their hands during church servicee the only thing I have not seen so far when I go is ppl shouting however, if they keep praising the way they do it will happen...and I can't wait to see it happen one day...it is so awesome

  • what the HELL? F...Tards much!

  • That spine-tingling feeling is pure irrational insanity.

  • coming from a conservitive baptist church in ohio i could never imagine being in this church but it looks fun :) just praising God with such enthusiasim intrests me.

  • these sound like they have been proper brain washed ......

  • I have visited this church! Enjoyed it very much. I drove all the way from Cheyenne, WY to go to service.

  • Not a Christian or of any faith at all but this worship is spine tingling!!

  • @MyHgreen That spine tingling you feel is God's spirit!

  • @MyHgreen THAT "spine tingling" is God!!! I feel it everytime I enter our church and I feel it at home and I feel it seeing this, because it makes me ready for our next service!!

  • God knows what is going on .... let the people talk down on gods chosen people for there worship... just keep your faith...dont let the negative take away from the positive...I plead the blood of the lamb on ALL the devils angels!!!!just remember to P>U>S>H for it..and it will come Praise Until Something Happens...

thank you lord for the truth...apostolic for life...

  • fucking brainwashed sheep.

  • @xn117 OMG i cant agree more !!

  • Jesus Rey de reyes y Señor de señores!!!

  • AMAZING nonsense!

  • Glory to God. God bless this church

  • see this is why you shouldnt smoke crack lol

  • @Legionx8111 no this will keep you from ever starting crack. God aint no Joke.. no lol's from me sorry!

  • i found out why church people dress up for church-it started in history when the monarch would visit a temple-the church people dressed up to impress the monarch

  • great song! do u know who sings this song?!

  • great song! do u know who sings this song?!

  • wow reformation look what you did this looks like some tribal voodoo worshiping you'd see in africa

  • Jesus has just possessed my computer lol no joke His spirit is so thick i'm litetally shivering at 72 degrees room temp

  • i went to a pentacostal church and its fuckin scared the shit out of me everybody started flipping out PRAISE BUDDHA

  • @zombiechickenify2

did they really? pentacostels are demonically possessed you know.

  • Isn't that Rod Milbourn playing the piano?

  • THEY NEED TO HAVE CONVERT CARE, THEY DIDN'T WHEN I WAS THEIR. OR BIBLE STUDIES. NO ONE TALKED TO ME, WANTED MY PHONE NUMBER, NOTHING. BUT MY FIRST CHURCH WAS LIKE THAT TOO. HAVE TO MOVE ON AND FORGIVE!!! WE CANNOT BE A "NUMBERS" ONLY CHURCH!! BAPTISM, AND HOLY GHOST FILLING , THEN FORGET ABOUT THEM AND SEEK THE NEXT VICTIM. AMEN PRAISE GOD

  • I am so sad that every UPCI song with worship, or preaching clip put on you tube, seems to attract someone like thechessstick with such negative comments. God is so good, and His spirit so real. I hope people can look past the negative comments and search out the Lord, and see for themselves, that the Pentecostal experience is real! Pentecostal worship brings such joy and pleasure to God, and He in turn blesses the people. The joy of the Lord is my strengh!

  • THANKS FOR POSTING LANDMARK TABERNACLE!!! NO PLACE LIKE IT!!!!

  • AMEN AMEN!! NOTHING BETTER than being in praise & worship service, filled with the Holy Ghost and giving up self to GOD!

  • Wo Hoo!! Come on Jesus! Praise him!!

  • I love to hear a Saxaphone in Apostolic Worship(because that's what I play) lol Glory To GOD Pentecost is still Going Strong.

  • @Inchurch4life I would love to learn to play!!! :) Thats neat that you play for the Lord!! give God the glory. The piano too would be fun to learn.

  • Is this landmark tabernacle in denver?

  • These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me.

    Matt 15:8

  • @Davertin Hi how do you know the condition of each heart there ? Did God tell you .?????????

  • i love the presence of God

  • I laughed so hard when I saw this

  • All arguments aside for a minute, the Lord really loves to be praised from a pure heart. Good to see this.

  • @atestring. Duh! It also means a man. At no time was a woman ever a priest. And Jesus didn't raise up any women to be leaders. According to the scripture women are to remain silent in Church. They are only to teach other women and children. "I suffer not a woman to teach nor to usurp the authority over the man but to be in silence." And here these UPCI stuffed shirts are lifting their wives up to be "Elders", "Pastors" , "Teachers" of "men" and "Preachers". No real man would allow it.

  • You may not have a problem with women Elders but God does and He says so in His Word. Too, bad UPC "Pastors" don't keep sound doctrine and instead heap up disciples unto themselves desiring to make s show of their followers.

  • How do you know what god doesn't like?

  • By what is said in God's Word. And Elder is to be the husband of one wife. Easy enough to understand that. But these UPC "Pastors" want to lift their wives up above the other men of the congregation so they spit in the face of God and elect women Elders and Pastors.

  • There are many books which claim to have the word of god. How do you separate your book from others?

  • One must do a little research. There was a man named Robert Dick Wilson who instead of just taking others' word for it dedicated his life to finding out if the Bible is indeed the Word of God. You can get his book "A Scientific Investigation of the Old Testament". If you read this book it will save you years of research. I have to go now but I will add more later. There are plenty of proofs, though.

  • the word of God said not to be caught up in foolish arguments...and NOT to argue over his word. I will not use a mans book to tell me that the word of God is true..I will allow God only to tell me that.and I know every word is true. You have a religious spirit about you and you need to renounce it and repent. God doesn't need anyone to defend His word. If you don't like what is going on at that church..simply go somewhere else. God said to lift others up, not beat them down. Be Christ like.

  • @churchmedley. First of all you are evidently a believer. I was talking to someone who I thought was an unbeliever. You are not an evangelist are you? Look at how Paul witnessed to the Greek scholars at Mars Hill. It was much different than Peter witnessed to the Jews who already knew God's Word to be true. I am a UPC member and I will correct the UPC "Pastors" because no one else is man enough to do it. Stick to where your gifts are.

  • and exactly what are my gifts?? You just seem to judge them so harshly, let me ask you this??? Who is holding you accountable??

  • I don't know what your gifts are but they are not teaching or witnessing. Maybe the gift of helps? I am accountable to God.

  • we ALL are accountable to God so be careful what you say to others and how you JUDGE them...that's not your job, it's God's...focus on yourself and not others so much....and yes, I have been called for Evangelism..by the way, have you spoken with your pastor about your concerns instead of blasting them on youtube, might wanna try that...you also may want to pray about your submissiveness to your pastor..what you are doing is not biblical. What you are doing on here is not edifying.

  • I should have explained why I said that you are ignorant. You are merely ignorant when it comes to teaching, witnessing or evangelizing. This is all I really know about you. If you are an evangelist then you must evangelize people who already believe because you don't know how to witness to unbelievers. Let me know if you would like some help in this area.

  • Hello again don. Please, ignore the ignorant "Christian" churchmedley. There are many who call themselves Christian. Back to your ?. First of all pray for the Bible itself says "for a man to come to God he must first believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." So, Don, do you believe that God exists? and do you believe that He will reward you if you diligently seek Him?" If so, pray for His guidance and begin to diligently seek Him.

  • speak to me please and not about me...how dare you call me ignorant when you know nothing about me...wow how harshly you judge everyone. sounds like you got overlooked for a position in the church by the pastors wife?? Anyone, I'm done talking to someone who is beyond correction themselves. No need to reply..Thanks

  • Now, as you diligently seek Him you must begin to read His Word. God Himself will open up the scriptures to you. As far as the Bible being the Word of God. It is unlike any other book ever written. Its prophecies always come true. I good study of the prophecies concerning the city of Tyre and or Babylon will prove this to be true. Also, the prophecies about the Messiah which were and will be fulfilled by Jesus who is the Messiah. Let me know how else I may be of assistance.

  • What exactly is it about the bible that sets it apart from the Koran, Kitáb-i-Íqán, Vinaya Pitaka, Śruti, Hadith, Tanakh, the Holy Piby

, or the Kebra Negast? The people of those religions regard their holy book to be the word of the one true god. All of these books have elements of verifiable history, so why should I believe in your god and not theirs?

  • Hello again Don. Not having read these other books I cannot comment much about them. I can however tell you some things about the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God the Creator. And there is only one God. The Book of Genesis, the 1st Book of the Bible is the foundational Book. The Bible is divided into the Old Testament which was before the coming of Jesus and the New Testament which is after His coming. The O.T. is made up of 39 Books the N. T. 27 Books.

  • The Bible itself claims to be the Word of God. Part of the Genesis account is before the creation of man. It goes back to the beginning of time. It starts "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". All of the scriptures are Divinely inspired. Holy men of wrote wrote them as the were moved upon by the Holy Ghost. Genesis gives us the Creation account and it also tells us how sin and death entered into the world. In it we also see the promise of the Messiah or Savior.

  • Without the Genesis account one cannot begin to understand the world past, present of future. Genesis has within it the 5 great historical events without which one simply cannot understand the world. They are 1.The Creation account(Paradise) 2. The Fall (Paradise Lost) sin and death enter in 3. Noah's Flood (God's intervention/judgment) 4. The Tower of Babel (The Dividing of the Nations) 5. The Promise of the Messiah (Redemption) . These things are foundation even to the Gospel.

  • In the Old Testament we have not only the promise of the Messiah but also prophecies concerning Him Read Isaiah 53. Also, It was prophesied that He would be born of a virgin in the town of Bethlehem. Jesus was born of a virgin in Bethlehem. The New Testament tells of Jesus' birth, life, death on the cross, resurrection and ascension. It also speaks of His return to rule over the Earth.

  • By the way, Don, the Tanakh is part of the Bible. It is in the Old Testament. The writers of the Koran stole many Old Testament scriptures. The Koran is a work in progress and is constantly being corrected and edited. Also, in the New Testament is a Book called Revelations. It predicted almost 2000 years ago that men would one day receive a "mark" IN their right hand or forehead for indentification and control. Imagine 2000 years ago something like the Verichip being foreseen.

  • How is the Bible different? It is firstly actually God's Word. 2ndly its historical account is perfect 3rdly its prediction all come true 4thly it has within it the plan of redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ who is God Himself come into the world as a man to live a sinless life and to die a sacrificial death for us. Because He was innocent death could not hold Him down and he resurrected. We can be part of His resurrection by dying with Him in repentance and baptism. Do you want this?

  • I don't know what you're talking about with that whole verichip thing, I don't have such a mark. As for the whole bit about being a savior, Thammuz of Syria was crucified in 1160 B.C. He was also worshipped as the son of God and savior in Jerusalem over a thousand years before today's christ. So how do I know that Thammuz is not the son of god, but that Jesus is?

  • I mean no disrespect. But this is a very important question. If all things begin and end in eternity, I would be unwise to not look carefully at all claims made. It seems there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of religions, schisms exist within all, and most claim to be the one true faith. The followers of every faith seem to be certain of what they believe. They can't all be true. What do you believe happens when a non-believer dies?

  • @Don, Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life, No one cometh unto the Father but by Me". Jesus is the only Savior. The Scriptures say "God is not slack concerning His promises but is longsuffering to us ward not willing that any should parish but that all should come to repentance". The Gospel is available to all and God is there for all. Start reaching out to God in prayer Don and start reading your Bible. If you let me know what town you live in I can find you a Church to vist

  • All hail King Jesus!! Now if only the UPCI leaders would stop the persecution of men with facial hair. Don't they know that Jesus has a beard. What would they not let Him preach? Of course they would not. He has a beard. Also, they need to overturn the apostasy that was introduced in the 1920's namely allowing women to be elders, etc.

  • you fool's just need something to believe in.

  • @chuck4419 Then a fool for Christ I shall be!!

  • Hello Micheller1210. Too bad there are so many people who don't believe in Jesus. I do hope that UPCI "pastors" will quickly put an end the the persecution that men with facial hair suffer in the UPCI movement. Also, they need to overturn the apostasy that was introduced in the 1920's namely allowing women to become elders. I think that the "pastors" did it to elevate their own wives.... too, bad....

  • I love the song they are singing it sounds the same at any pentecostal church black or white. Love it cont. to praise the lord

  • ok I did my rebuke but the Brandon Fraiser is too funny! Rod will like that ! lol!

  • How do you feel about men having beards? Or women being elders? Pray for UPCI. It must repent!

  • In Jesus day a beard was the norm. The UPCI stance against facial hair came from a cultural issue in the 60's and 70's that identified a person specifically with a worldly culture. Many corporations have a dress code that would best represent themselves. To say facial hair is sinful is completely wrong... but to make a standard that ALL are to comply with is not wrong.

  • I pastor a church and I have men in my congregation with facial hair and I have NEVER said anything to them about it. If they wanted to minister on the platform.. then I would require that they meet organizational standards. Nothing more to it.

  • So, then you lay on them a commandment of man thereby making the commandments of none affect. You are so puffed up in your little UPCI Pastor haughtiness that you cannot even accept reproof even it is directly from the Word of God. Guess why UPCI has a growing number of ministers and yet a shrinking number of congregants. There are 2 classes. Are your children PCs? And do they associate with other PCs? The whole idea of fashioning the church after the world is heresy. Repent "Pastor"

  • @pastorspringer. Why don't you stand like a man like the Bible tells us to do. Do you have women "Elders" in your "Church" like my woman-ruled "Pastor" does? Tell, you what, make it a rule in your "Church" that men must have a beard to be a minister or to be on the platform. You UPCI "Pastors" are such phonies. Just a bunch of elitists who think that they are important. I bet that you condone birth control, too, don't you? Faithless workers.

  • Yes to make it a standard that ALL are to comply with something that is against God's design is definitely wrong. You do understand that God created men with facial hair, don't you? Adam I am sure had a nice full beard when he was created. Some churches even say that it is a sign of the effemination of men to have shaven faces. Jesus HAS a beard. Why David even let his trusted men stay away until their beards grew back after the enemy shaved off half of them. Satan is our enemy.
