lol i am not sure if most people agree but i find rpg maker vx to be better than xp when it comes to custom made scripts.

mapping is a piece of cake in rpg maker vx compared to xp. hence i prefer vx over xp for making most of my custom games.

the missing file problem is because you haven't installed the RTP. open rpg maker xp's setup file, and there should be a menu option for it.

I did, i mean i think so. Cause i got the french translated version and the other file is called RGSS. So i dunno if it's the same as RTP, i only know that it's needed to run RMXP. And by setup you mean install thingy? I can almost perfectly talk english but some words...

Scripting in VX is almost the smae as to XP... So, you could do this in VX.

I dont know about the pokemon starter kit but to play it without rpgmaker do this

1.Load your rpg maker file up

2.File>Compress Game Data

3.Choose a location

4.Click ok and wait for it to load

5.Find it! And Play!

Semi false, most keygens work but are usually packaged with trojans. Solution is to put them on a flash drive and do your business on a public computer

I have a problem with RPG Maker XP. Okay, my free trial on it ran out, and I made a really cool RPG game, well, I found a keygen, stupid me, thought it was okay to do, so I get it free, then my RPG game's data's all f**ked up (nothing shows up and I can't test play), so I uninstall RPG Maker XP, and then re-download it, it stills thinks I paid for it, so now, I can't do a damn thing with my game, so, can you load games made in the trial version, or am I screwed?
