You can't really teach them what you want, they pick up what they want to learn and gets them the reaction they want. Angrypie...every bird is different, not all learn a lot of words, and some are shy talkers..and don't talk when people are around them.

well my cockatoo & i were outside and he was chased by a flock of magpies i spend the whole day searching for him , ieven rang the local news station , and printed out 500 flyers anyway i went to bed crying, i felt like one of my kids had died , anyway the next morning i went outside and heard a screeching sound I yelled out Charlie & here was in a tree yelling back Hello,so now im so greatfule happy & feel priviliged to have him anyway ,regardless of what he says or or what he destroys
