@LAmatraca123 Jeunet also did 'Amelie', 'The City of Lost Children' and 'Micmacs' - 'Amelie' and 'The City of Lost Children' are definitely worth watching, i wouldn't suggest 'Micmacs' though it is more recent. I cant help with other French films but there are some really amazing German ones like 'The Experiment' or 'Four Minutes'. British cinema is also pretty good some times if you know 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels', or 'Control'. Hope that helps.

Such a brilliant movie, most definitely for thinking persons. Although not explicitly stated by the director, does a good job of highlighting the vices and major downfalls of post-modern consumerism in the present day. If this was made at a later time, it would be filled with allegories and symbolism!

first french film that can't be watched dubbed, pretty much where I found dubs suck. no passion behind dubs. This would be in the genre of Dark Comedy., maybe Morbid Comedy. But for the art film nut. Perfect timing :)
