@DreamHonour Actually, it is the easiest to learn, as it was created by a Buddhist Nun and designed to be learned quickly and effectively against larger opponents. When I was in the "Forces", Wing Chung was taught to us along with some other basic combat skills, because it was effective and direct. I did not mind, because it was the second art I discovered back in 1988 and I never let it go since. Center line combat. Closing the distance. Excellent fighting art!

@HerculesTAK And the fact you can beat much larger opponent is one of the best things in Wing Chun. For me it's better to have faster punches and kicks rather than something like super-strength, coz then you cant even hit person, who is faster and how big muscles you have is nothing..

@MmaFighter313 What your not considering is the speed and strength of the boxer. If you notice Ip scores way more hits, but they dont do as much, and the speed and conditioning of the boxer closes the gap. However i do agree that a boxer is at a disadvantage vs a kung fu master.

@Gnostic88 For the most part, that's true. But for a person against another person, strength isn't necessarily at the highest tier. Certain areas of your body you can't protect. Your stomach, for example, no bone protect whatsoever, even if you have some badass abs, a well placed kick, knee, punch, elbow, can put you in a world of pain. Knowing where to hit, like pressure points, can totally turn tides as well. There are just certain places you can't train ti protect. Then again, it's Ip Man. =P

@Vote4Taco Well yeah thats true to an extent but the boxers conditioning also went over to his reflexes and motor skills, so his coordination is very formidable coupled with his size and power he would be a tough fight, but as said Boxing probably is not as good kung-fu in terms of versatility/efficiency but its dependent on the fighters always.
