I first ate a In-n-Out going back in 1996 if fact I believe the burgers were better then, tastier with more natural ingredient. I recently went back to taste the brouhaha was all about and frankly I was even more disappointed. Off side, people in the UK eat dog food , English food taste like crap. So UK shut the hell up.
When I moved to San Diego, one of the first restaurants that I ate at was In-N-Out, and I've been a fan ever since! Great food + 7-Up on tap = epic win!!!
Oh man, I'd travel all the way from Sweden to LA just to try In-And-Out-Burger. I was there once, but I had never heard about it back then so all I got was stinking Jack In The Box.
Simon is too cute!! lol Thats what I notice about this video. American girls don't stand a chance when we see hot English guys!! lol
I've only ever had 5 guys fries and i wasn't blown away, but it is cool cuz they cut them fresh every day and they tell you where they're from on that day. But never had their burgers.
@anothertalkinghead Yeh i have a five guys a couple of blocks away from me and its pretty good. You can get it in new york. I have never had an in and out burger, but my friend has had both and says that the in and out is much better.
Thanks for posting this, my friends in California rave about in and out, i like broiled burgers but they say these are great so hitting vegas in feb 2010 i will be having my first in and out which one shall i get...not the huge huge one something that represents a great in and out burger!
the regular menu is very simple - you can get a hamburger, cheeseburger, or a double-double - which, just like it sounds, has double meat and double cheese.
You can't go wrong with any of the above - or even all of the above! :)
Chicken Bacon Ranch is my favorite subway sandwich as well. It's phenomenal! However, I get Herbs and Cheese bread! That burger did look good. I have lived in Florida almost all my life and even have a Five Guys by my house, but I have never been. My fiancee does not eat beef and they do not have chicken there so we have never gone. Nice to see ya Simon. =)
I sure will! I gotta start writing down these homework assignments you're giving me. First me admitting my loss of the Baruto wager (which I gotta say, could still go my way) and now my 5 Guys burger. I shall try my best Jason-san.
Oh how I despise this video! The one thing I miss about the states; big, nasty greasy burger joints! mmmmmmmmm おいしいてすよ!! mmmmmm. I recently did a restaurant lesson and a food lesson. Getting pictures and a menu from my favorite restaurant (o'Charleys) made my stomach think it was being starved! I do like this video really ^-^ Fun stuff!
glad you introduced your cousin to fine American cuisine, it looked delicious. spent 3 years in Coronado and never had the chance to eat at an in n out , wish i did.JV
go to the website link in the sidebar for locations... They're all over So Cal, and also in Nevada and Arizona and even Utah. So worth it if you see one
Sorry, Jason, but In-And-Out is something I do not miss about California.........I especially do not miss the hat. Lol. It does beat McDonald's and Carl's Jr./ Hardees by a long shot, though. ^-^
Jason, Igotta disagree with you here... while In-n-Out has good fries, their burgers are really not that good. The patties are way too thin. IMO, Carl's Jr is the best fast food burger (try their new "Big Carl", or a "$6 burger". Much thicker and meater!). And almost every city and town has some local non-chain place with burgers better than any chain. I hope you don't let Simon leave the US thinking In-n-Out is the pinnacle of American burgers, or even burger chains!
I agree about the Big Carl - I was pleasantly surprised when I tried one a few weeks ago.
But I have to stick by In-n-Out - a Double Double for me is the perfect tasting burger. I love their sauce, the way the cheese melts, the buns they use, etc.
I was born, raised and grew up smack-dab in the middle of Tokyo, but I've also spent a good chunk of my later life in San Francisco (went to college there, too.) Back then, I didn't see any In-n-Out anywhere in the whole Bay Area. Now, they've finally opened one in the city and there's talk about opening another location in the East Bay (probably in Oakland.)
If they're ever planning an East Coast expansion, I'd love to invest in it (although, I hear it's not a publicly-owned chain...)
The closet In-N-Out near me is almost always packed. Parking is taken up and drive-thru is about a 10-15 minutes wait time depending on the time (lunch/dinner, Fridays, and weekends are killer).
man hope we get this in the united kingdom
