  • Two fighters who, at the very least, are on anyone's top 5 of all time, in the same ring together. This is a real timeless treasure. Thanks for posting.

  • look up the definition of "exhibition" ......now look up the definition of "tomfoolery" and now , finally , look up the term "idiot".

The dictionary sent you to a mirror , didn't it ?

  • willies trying to make this a serious exebition? are you crazy lol they are both clowning.

  • i cant imagine 2 SLICKER,TRICKIER guys in the same ring

  • wow¡¡¡¡.....TREMENDO VIDEO.

El mejor libra x libra vs El mejor onza x onza

  • lame....what are these condescending wide haymakers ?

that's the shit we can do !

why not at least spar smartly ?

  • @gameboy010203 cuz its an exhibition. theyre just having fun

  • @AsianBaskero never seen many exhibitions where they wouldnt just box (not fight).

whatever.....if lil simpletons like yourself are amused and rolling in glee then mission accomplished , right ?

  • @gameboy010203 its for fun. do you even know what weight classes these 2 are in?

  • @AsianBaskero they weren't tha far apart. Is sparring , not a fight.

PBF sparred Montell Griffin who was a LHW for chrissakes !

  • @gameboy010203 do you even know the meaning of fun? its an exhibition

  • Just think: these two LEGENDS combined had almost 450 fights!

Out of their primes or not, I would rather watch Pep and Robinson clown around than any superfight you could offer from today's best.

  • I wanna see a modern day exhibition... I remember tyson doing a sparring match a few months after he retired but the crowd didnt appreciate what was going on

  • LOL these guys are hilarious. it's good to see these two all time greats joking around

  • excellent upload! 1 commentator correction @ 3:54 everyone here in BOSTON is enjoying themselves

  • amen

  • this is cool thx for uploading! the commentary was enjoyable too. its kinda crazy to think that bernard hopkins is at their age now....boxing needs to be more fun/entertaining, it doesnt always have to be all serious and all about the big money

  • I read that Robinson beat Pep in the amateurs.

  • @TheRexrapper He says that at 2:36

  • @TheRexrapper Different weight classes so them fighting wouldn't happen. I have Robinson as the best with the athleticism/technician/power combo but Pep as the best technician as far as skill. Old school fighters are fading everywhere except Cambodia and Thailand.

  • Yeah it's only an exhibition and they're well past their best (and then some). But it's worth watching just to see possibly the the two greatest boxers of all time in the same ring.

    Rewind back to the end of 1947 - 18 years before this exhibition;

Robinson was the World Welterweight Champ with an 84-1-1 record

Pep was the World Featherweight Champ with an 118-1-1 record.

    Fantastic numbers in any era.

  • Gay song. lol

  • Yeah who the fuck would want to watch this horrible shit, this guy is talking about pep being on the comeback trail. We owe fighters (way too late for these 2 obviously) more than this. Holyfield? Mosley? Briggs? Stop the madness! Yeah id like to see the 1938 fight.

  • This is sad they look wasted

  • @BigJ3135

    They probably were LOL

  • sugar ray seriously looks drunk

  • Is that Marciano with the commentary?

  • GREAT VIDEO !!!!!! and good commentary, thanks for posting this piece of history.

  • I thought this was gonna be serious...

  • thts how they fight nowadys lol

  • good clip, but that noise almosts ruined it! should of done the commentry seperate.lol

  • Robinson and Pep fought each other as amateurs if i'm not mistaken...Robinson won

  • @HarryTheTalkingDude Yeah, check out In This Corner Willie Pep. What a great character this guys was. There are so many great Willie Pep stories. The next boxing movie should be about Pep

  • Lol robinson is a joker...

  • They dont make em like this anymore!

  • mma and boxing great ironman take gaywheater off ya llist

  • good stuff

  • although its messing around by both here, i feel privileged to have seen this, thank you

  • My personal top 5.

    #1 Sugar Ray Robinson

    #2 Muhammad Ali

    #3 Sugar Ray Leonard

    #4 Pernell Whitaker

    #5 Roy Jones Jr

  • i have myself as no.1 of all time

  • @innit27 well you also have a touch of the downs.....

  • @SugarFloydTysonJR better than having the full blown version like yourself. i mean naming yourselff after Tyson the rapist haha what age are you? 5? haha

  • @innit27 I'm sure you think you're being clever or something by claiming to be the best of all time but you're not. You're some chump who can't appreciate the work of others, so you compare youreself to them...oh and btw I guarantee I could beat you in the ring. P.S. my name is a homage to my favorite boxers of all time.

  • @SugarFloydTysonJR i was doing you a favour thinking your age was 5, you sound more like pre-school haha

  • why cant boxing be like this anymore?

  • I have Sandy Sadler ranked ahead of Willy Pep.

  • u can totaly tell they dont wanna hurt each other

  • So sad that boxing is dead. Maybe Pacquiao can bring it back for us. MMA is killing boxing.

  • @lilsean616

floyd outsells pacman in pay-per-view easy

    pacman is the catchweight king

  • @lilsean616 MMA is not killing boxing. The best boxing matches are much better than MMA. BOXING is killing boxing. To much politics nowadays.

  • sugar ray could fight with any of todays boxers. he was conditioned to fight longer and had a harder career. 200+ fights. and fighters back then used to take more punishment, sometimes over fifteen or twenty clean punches in a row before the ref would stop the fight. watch ray robinson vs lamotta. lamotta had the hardest chin ever, none of todays boxers could take that beating. and watch peps defensive moves in his prime, he's the old school pernell whitaker

  • wow baltazarbrothers great and rear vid where did u get this

  • Comment removed

  • @Shady313WoW wow i can see you truly don't know anything about boxing to say some dumb shit like that wow

  • @Shady313WoW You have to be completely retarded to make a comment like that.

  • Got Gans as #1 of all time then Sugar Ray then Pep n Armstrong.

  • Robinson has the most beautiful boxing style, no wonder he is the greatest of all times, everybody tries to imitate him but unfortunately we only get bad copies.

  • They fought in amateurs also. Robinson won a close decision.

  • look at how Willy is punching..he's not trying to make this a serious exhibition.. they are both playing

  • They look like they're having fun in there. Good Shit .

  • ill pay $200 for the amateur fight

  • I have Sugar Ray Robinson ranked #1 of all time, and I have Willie Pep ranked #3 of all time.

  • so do I...you have Hank Armstrong at #2?
