i dont think you need to rank your taming skill, if only you dont have pet.
use cobra = summon and return - poison to take effect and wait for the poison to disappear then repeat over when it reach to last will.
Note: do not use other pet for damage, yet also do not need to rank it up
Did this dungeon? - 1 time
Taming while have novice rank? - 3 fail 1 success
was it long? - No, only take about 2 min in boss battle
