The Bible says to be in the world but not of it, that means as Christians were called to be leaders by example. Acting better than others is not a way to do that by looking down on somebody because of a "dislike", everybody is entitled to their opinions. Jesus never pointed at ppl saying they were stupid for not believing, instead he lead by example which is why so many people were drawn to him.
He is to 'good looking' here. In the Bible it was said he was very normal looking, very similar to any far eastern man. Short, hairy, brown...nothing special. People were drawn to Him because of the Spirit of God. I have only seen one painting, that I would consider, looks like The Christ. He was a carpenter, He wasn't skinny, or blue eyed. okay i decided to look at the comments on this video and i want to point out a few things. 1) sin still exists... but its power over mankind was broken by Jesus. 2) seeing a car that you like is not coveting... now if you are like "I want their car so bad!" then thats coveting. 3) living IN America is not sinful but practicing common culture is. 4) God probably leads the lost here so the word can be planted in them. 5) science is just as much a part of the Bible as Jesus is... look it up and see

I really never could accept the Christian notion of God being Man. I soulsearched and Islam seems to answer many questions I had. To me its the only way to worship God, besides I when I was going to Church I always thought "I came here to worship God not sing hymns!"

If someone dies that's suffering enough really isn't it? How can a death by crucifixion not be as bad as the other deaths you've mentioned.
Anyway, I'm not wanting to argue, I think the real point is not the suffering but who Jesus claimed to be and what we do with that knowledge. If you believe Jesus was the one of God that has huge implications. That's why His death (and resurrection) are more significant than the deaths that happened before and after by the Romans, and others.

I have lived a very hard life, never really feeling like I belong in this world. i have been to prison and back and could never understand why i was always a victim of myself. Jesus of Nazareth was the movie that led me to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. To finally have hope in the future. Today, I still stand alone in this world but in Christ I have a friend.

okay i decided to look at the comments on this video and i want to point out a few things. 1) sin still exists... but its power over mankind was broken by Jesus. 2) seeing a car that you like is not coveting... now if you are like "I want their car so bad!" then thats coveting. 3) living IN America is not sinful but practicing common culture is. 4) God probably leads the lost here so the word can be planted in them. 5) science is just as much a part of the Bible as Jesus is... look it up and see

If you really don't believe in God, I challenge you to read a book called "More than a Carpenter" by Josh McDowell. It was written by an athiest who set out to prove christianity wrong. My favorite as well. The Passion took the "The Passion" to a greater personal level of Christ's sufferings 4 us. Not all the way though- the Bible says they pulled His beard out- He was so disfigured from their scourging & beating Him His features were unrecognizable as "human"--No matter how many times they do it? They'll never get it to how He suffered and what He endured because of His love for us ALL. Even the idiots that mocked Him He said " Father forgive them they know not what they do"

HAHA! People have suffered more at the hands of the US army, the Khamer Rouge and Nazi Germany than this historical character did at the hands of the Romans! Did you ever consider this wasn't the first time the Romans mutilated and mistreated a prisoner?

If someone dies that's suffering enough really isn't it? How can a death by crucifixion not be as bad as the other deaths you've mentioned.
Anyway, I'm not wanting to argue, I think the real point is not the suffering but who Jesus claimed to be and what we do with that knowledge. If you believe Jesus was the one of God that has huge implications. That's why His death (and resurrection) are more significant than the deaths that happened before and after by the Romans, and others.

What a privelidge to die beside the Christ. A beautiful video, lovely song and moving Robert Powell imagery. I too am a thief, deserving of death but because of my wonderful and unselfish saviour I am now in Paradise with Him and all my brothers and sisters including lilshnappinturtle!! Bless you brother.

ChucksterOLove, I went to your You Tube channel, I found that you have disabled the ratings and comments for all of your videos. I find that strange for a person who is so pasionate about his ramblings. I also find it strange that you make the comments listed above without giving viewers the oportunity to comment on your work. I would think you would welcome response and discusion to such bold and controversial statements. Good luck with whatever it is you are trying to do.
