Macs is traumatized. He can't wrap his head around how this happened to him. He is also conflicted knowing that his brother is gay. The shaving of his head is like the old Macs has died and a new one is imerging. It's left to be seen what thsi new Macs is going to be like. One thing, he is starting to take out his anger on those he love. He may escalate to something more brutal if he does not deal with the pain, and then it will be too late.

even if Scott came back I don't think Macs would go to the police.He's afraid of what everybody would think about him.Oh you had a few beers,you probably wanted it.If Macs wanted to get justice he would have to seek it himself.I can't believe after what he did to Iolo and Macs he still has fans.

thanks Anthony, rape is an act of violence end of, there is nothing sexual in it, scott needs to be castrated at best and killed at worst, what he did was to destroy another human, he is a monster. This is horrible, some people live the rest of their lives never getting over rape. i hope he does come back and Macs gets to kill him. but sadly even that will not give Macs back what was stolen from him, this story line breaks my heart.

@shyathena34 I'm glad that European based soaps are not always quick to recasts soap character roles, like here on US daytime (what remains of it). I don't think that Scott will ever be "sent down" or charged with raping Macs. Sadly, that does happen out in the real world. Not all rapists are convicted.

@pripropra1 I'm not Anthony, but I'd be totally shocked if they suddenly made Jinx gay. He's had a couple of serious relationships with women in the past but he's not married. He's a DJ on the local radio. If they made him Iolo's boyfriend I'd start to seriously think that the writers had run out of ideas and I'd be very disappointed in them.

@WelshHelen1 Jinx as I have said is just one of lifes true romantics and has idealistic views on things.But also Jinx never speaks very much about having a serious love life and in fact is quite a mysterious person when it comes to affairs of the heart maybe that is a good thing who knows but let's face it anything can happen it all depends which way the writers want to finally take the charecter of Jinx lol.

@angellady30 I don't really see Jinx as mysterious with his love life - he's had two serious relationships & in true soap style both ended up pretty disastrously. The 1st was with a girl who was anorexic/bulemic & if I remember rightly tried to kill herself then left the village & the 2nd was with Izzy who was basically raped by Macs & left to go travelling. There hasn't been a single hint that Jinx is at all interested in men - his sudden conversion would be as ridiculous as Scott being gay...

@WelshHelen1 Yers he may have had type of relationships in the past this is true but he is at the moment just coasting through without a real idea of what is going to happen to him next.We do not really understand enough about Jinx to make an accurate charecterisation of how he is as a person only little bits and pieces we have seen so far.Never said Jinx was turning gay I was merely refearing to a point someone made earlier on but for me personally he is not but he is still a mysterious.

@WelshHelen1 I agree. Jinx seems pretty comfortable in his own skin so if he were gay or bisexual, I see him as the kind of guy who'd explore that and not be a closet case.  I think Jinx and Iolo are as likely a pair as Scott and Iolo were. ;-)

OK, sometimes violent criminals are "compelling", "fascinating" characters that nice people fall in love with - but such a scenario has never made any sense in Scott's case. He has always been thuggish and violent, not compelling or fascinating. Now Jinx... he could be bisexual, he could be ready to explore that, and he could be capable of falling in love over time with special guy. Maybe our Iolo. I like that storyline, yes I do...

I honestly thought they wouldn't pull that cliche, but I guess some things are cliche for a reason. If anything, Macs shaving his head is going to make Iolo even more suspicous. I hope Macs talks to someone, soon, about what happened. He's really starting to lose it now.

Then, his reaction when Iolo asked him if Scott had hit & kissed him. He must have felt like Iolo could somehow see that he's raped. Unfortunately, Iolo just knows how Scott reacts when he's upset about something going wrong in his life. He lashes out and it's towards men. Bravo, again to the writers of Pobol y Cwm.

Rhys' still impressing me, in his performance in this week's episodes. Macs' having a good day, until the moment that Geithin startled him in the house. You saw him physically and mentally shut down and the fear enveloped him all over again. Sioned still has no clue, but she should be now worried about how he reacted towards her, when they had sex.

Macs could be confused, obviously we didn't see what happened but male victims can get aroused during a rape, and that can make the victim think he liked it and hated it all at the same time, the arousal (if it happened) is nothing to do with getting pleasure during the rape it it a physical reaction not a sexual one.

@DMR2006 There is no episode today. The show is pre-empted for a rugby match. That's why they had two episodes yesterday. Whenever there's a sporting event that pre-empts the show they always show a pair of episodes either the day before or the day after the game so they always air 5 episodes a week.

@lovebeyondnow No, I didn't get that at all. But, I did read that sometimes male rape victims do through confusion about their sexual identity. I don't think this is the case with Macs though.

Before the rape incident though, I have to admit I was hoping somehow Scott would come to his senses and start to court Iolo. They would make a sexy couple.

The writers have a good story line right now but I can't see where this could be going. With Scott gone for good (or is he), if so he wont pay for his crime and watching Macs fall into a deep, depressed and angry pit is no fun and not enough. Any ideas about what's coming next?
