Geez I can't believe they changed Elesis to a guy. Honestly, she was the best part of the game in my opinion. Well it got me playing Grand Chase anyways.

They changed elesis into a boy called Elsword...and lire and arme's name changed...it seems like a good version might as well try... hope they would make an option whether to play old or new version..that way, elesis and everyone's original name's won't be forgotten...it would be nice just to add something into the game..I hope it doesn't change..I'm going to miss them... : (

Ah but grand chase is still running this game is running along side grand chase. grand chase Korean(Original grand chase) is still running However Kog made Elsword and sold lisencing to Nexon. i was playing elsword the other day and.. all i have to say is... it sucks... its skill tree is way undeveloped and bosses are laughable easy there is no point in playing raven sense he only has 4 combos everyone else has like 8

Ah ur just attatched to Grand Chase. First of all, the game is new, so you can't expect the skill system to be the best right off the bat. Second of all I doubt Raven is underpowered. The bosses in Grand Chase were also pretty easy until you get to the further dungeons, or if you solo them, because the bosses are always easy if you're in a group.

hey and best part, they started with skill trees. we have only gotten them over the passed 2 years after this game came out. so this game is ment to be based around the skill tree unlike grand chase were its an add on, there for it should be better, how ever its worse there for logic wins once again Orlandor100

I love this game! The only way this is a sequel to Grand chase is the gameplay! actual missions are almost the same. Except you just press one little button to do most skills...and....this one is a hellofalot more fun ^^ other then that, you actualy run around town instead of just looking through menus, theres even a Free-market. PVP system of course. and you can have up to like...10 people in 1 pvp i think. and like 6 people into one mission. Its lots of fun, but hard for me cuz im not KOR

it is still considered the sequel of grand chase by many. first of all its made by the same company, elsword is elesis' brother, and the gameplay is similar. and besides lire and arme used to be temp names for lire and aisha

I know its considered a sequel by many. and no, NTREEV Didnt help make this one NEXON is the hoster tho i guess that dont matter but either way. Ntreev helped make grandchase. And from what i understand. Elsword related to elesis, but is not her brother. She is more like a grandmother. ( thats if i read that right from a guide) and i mentioned the gameplay aspect is almost identical besides having a better combo and skill system. Gameplay is th only thing that makes this a "sequel"

actually ntreev and nexon only publish the game, the creator of both games has been KOG. and from what i've been told, elsword often mentions in the storyline "his sister elesis"

Yes, though it's a lose sequal, it's heavily based off Grand Chase none the less. Sequals don't have to have similar storylines to their older brothers. Really the only character that was changed was thw swordsman, who was a swordsgirl, but now a boy, 3D graphics, and like you said, different monsters.
