@doshuevosconajo Nice that you liked my video. Yes Finland at its best is very beautiful and picturesque - especially at summer time. I hope you will get a chance to come here sometime :)
I wonder if it's possible to change focusing of the camera on different objects during recording, what I mean: for ex. 3:40min, you focus on sth close and the background is blurry, which is great, but during this scene, can you change focusing from this plant/leaf to sth in the background, so that the plant/leaf becomes blurry and the other in the back is sharp??
@LJoe28 Thanks for the compliments! N8 does not support autofocus during the video take, so it is not possible to change the focus from near to far and vice versa. N8 has fixed "far away focus" at video mode. So if you want to have a close up video with blurred background, you have to use a lens at the front of the N8 as I have done.
do you know if the N8 can shoot time lapse video? or, is there a software that can allow the phone to shoot time lapse?and if there is a software, is it in the OVI store? sorry for drowning you with questions =)
@rockimaru Hi. N8's own camera/ video application does not have time lapse functionality, but I have heard that there should be a time lapse application for N8 at OVI store. I have not tried it yet.
@twostrikerider Thanks. Unfortunately I have no experience about IPhone. But as far as shooting pictures and videos are concerned I have been happy using N8.
Nokia, the world's top mobile manufacturer admitted today 19 nov 2010 some of its flagship N8 smartphones were sold with a power fault meaning they switched themselves off
can u please tell me which software do u use for editing video?? ur videos are too sharp and high contrasted.. but my n8 videos are not dat much sharp like urs.. please tell me how to make more colourful of my video..?
@Tahsin4rockU Hi. I have not used any extra video editing application on my Nokia N8 films. Only Nokia N8's own video editing application.
About sharpness: N8 phone's focus is far by default. If you want to get some other distance to be at focus, you have to use a lens to modify focus.
About colors: I often use vivid colour tone mode while shooting video. But what is most important, I try to shoot videos at good light. Videos shot at overcast or cloudy are often (but not always) dull.
@sampheonix Thanks samheonix and all the other for the compliments! I am not a pro photographer. At least I have not get paid for any of my photographs :) But surely I like to shoot photos as my hobby.
@schuerzenjaeger Thanks! Yes I used just a regular Maped magnifying glass. I also attached the camera to the tripod for stability. Please check my video "a vay to attach Nokia N8 to tripod..." if you are interested to see how I attached the magnifying glass to camera.
Excellent video. Very appropriate. Finnish scenery on a Finnish phone. The low light on the Nokia N8 is very good especially compared to my Kodak ZI8 Pocket Camcorder.
@a7mdsoso It's not available right now for the N8, but will be available as soon as a critical camera bug is fixed (according to Nokia).. There's this modder who got 30fps and auto-focus to work on the N8 but he released the mod with the 30fps only because of the bug.. He's working with Nokia to get that fixed though. :D
great job...!

@Tahsin4rockU In addition. Especially when light gets dimmer the camera shake does cause video blurriness. That is the reason I like to use tripod.
