And while the consequences you point out may occur, they are INFINITELY preferable to the documented and proven negative consequences (in terms of public health, criminal behavior, and individual liberty) of making abortion illegal. I'm sorry, but abortion is LEGAL. A woman DOES have sovereignty over her own person. And while the consequences you point out may occur, they are INFINITELY preferable to the documented and proven negative consequences (in terms of public health, criminal behavior, and individual liberty) of making abortion illegal. Abortions can and should be reduced, but through education and individual choice. This isn't men v. women, it's about basic rights of the citizen to control their own body.

Hatch offered an amendment that would have prohibited federal funds from subsidizing plans that cover elective abortions, but would have allowed insurers to sell abortion coverage through separate supplemental policies not subsidized by federal funds. His amendment failed, 10-13. Baucus and other Democrats on the committee opposed the Hatch Amendment, except for Kent Conrad (D-ND). All the Republicans on the committee supported the Hatch Amendment, except for Olympia Snowe (R-ME).

Abortion funding IS in the bill. Republicans tried to exclude it, they were voted down.
Obama said the Hyde Amendment stops abortion funding. He lied. The Hyde Amendment prevents only Medicaid funds from being used for abortions. It wouldn't prevent abortion funding in gov't subsidized Obamacare health plans.

Good. Abortion is wonderful. It helps moms abandoned by fake religions like Christianity. It stops young girls from having their lives ruined by having kids too soon. And best of all it stops you fake Christians from controlling women like slaves. If even one fetus knew what kind of brainless zombies were out her murdering doctors in their names they would abort themselves.
