My now 18 year old son had the same problem. When one of these colic attacks hit him we were in the middle of cleaning house we stopped what we were doing when he started to scream like this. My ex-wife was holding him and I started vacuuming the floor and he stopped immediately the noise of the vacuum cleaner broke him of having colic attacks forever. We wore out the vacuum cleaner and then we finally got smart and recorded it onto audio tape and played it over and over.
try using gripe water...we used it on my daughter til she was 5 months for colic and then we still use it every now and then for when she gets a bad case of the hiccups
