I did this during camping we put a can of pork and beans and also a can of tuna in the Grill, its very very Loud and I suggest you try it during this time of the year since its hard to find fireworks and you can find canned food at your house. Really loud since the can is made of harder metal. It's safe I stood right next to one it exploded right in my face but I was still okay.
Um... shoudln't you like um... stand behind some sort of barrier? I mean, there is boiling hot high-pressure fluid exploding in all dirictions, not to mention shrapnel from the can. Consider your saftey next time.
