  • i love this video and nephentes plants too, i'm live in south vietnam, and i was collected viking x ampu spotted, viking x raff, mirablis green, miranda...v.v...

  • Does any have videos of nepenthes jacquelineae?

  • @devilonthebay Sorry, no videos from the natural growing sites, and only photos from our greenhouse.

  • @shartmeyer That's too bad because I've tried searching it everywhere but I just couldn't find it. Will you be planning on doing one sooner or later?

  • OOooooh, perfect! :D

  • Can i work there?! ill do it for free! ?

  • Ooooh, Nepenthes heaven!

  • thank you I to live in the USA , on the east coast in Md so everyone goes outside when it starts to get warm here around in May. Mean while my Nep. spectabilis has become a parent baby shoots how exciting .

    kyddoemiko.

  • kyddoemiko,

it actully depends on where u live i live in CA US i grow nepenthes indoors but if u live in aplace hotter or hawaii then outdoors

  • In this video I notice some of the lab wokers are taking leaf cuttings is this for propagation purposes or just to speed up new growth in the smaller plants? And should Nep. spectabilis be grown in full sun light outside. Say afternoon to evening sunset for the time table. Also, I would like to own one of the t-shirts with the company logo on it as well. How cool. Thank you, kyddoemiko

  • @kyddoemiko from what i could see they where just getting rid of dead or dying leafs

  • y r those workers so sad i would kill for that job nepenthes as far as the eye could see

  • cos they probly get paid in rice

  • because they would be earning about 50 cents a day..

  • Low light for Neps is a bad rumour, also N. alata loves the sun!

  • @shartmeyer But that's the highland. What about lowland? I heard they like high temperature and moisture but requires low light.

  • @cruelgrotequeblood

Colombo (Sri Lanka) is hot and moist lowland, no highland. Never grow Nepenthes under low-light conditions. Once again, that is a bad rumour spread by bad horticulturists in the past.

  • @shartmeyer Damn! I was starting to feel that way with the lightings because it's barely making any pitchers. I'm giving the exact same conditions as it's said in the article and only leaves are growing big. I was told that the leaves would easily burn with nepenthes so I was kind of scared but I seriously have to give it a try from now on.

  • I have two nepenthes alata, i leave it outside under sunlight all the time, and it is doing fine... but i heard somewhere it is bad for them to have direct sunlight. Is it true?
