  • I'd just hope the next town over didn't have a storm while you were in there. Flash Floods suck.

  • Nice vid! did your back/neck not ache like mf from being hunched over all the time?

  • Comment removed

  • @Alexeriks1 Its called exploring, you don't know if you will find something or not

  • I love urban exploration. But dayyumm. You have balls, I couldn't handle a small dark "endless" tunnel!

  • What happens if you get lost? O.o Omg!

  • nex time if you go by you self places like this tell you clostest peoples where you are gouing

  • About how long is the beltline? I was thinking about draining it this winter.

    Thanks.

  • the music reminds me of the professor Layton games and are there mice and rats in there

  • The most popular draining video on youtube!

  • I love Draining! keep them coming! :)

  • Why didn't you go up more ladders? D: Most of the drains I go into don't have many shafts or anything other than straight drain-pipe, so stuff like that is really exciting.

  • do you need a gas mask for storm drains? just wondering.

  • @BulletsArrowsKnives Not usually.

  • awesome video but what song is this please?

  • Cool vid ive done some drains myself there really fun and you never know what type of structures youll see or what type of drains youll encounter, take a headlamp and a extra flashlight/camera and your set make sure when you go theres no rains near by or in your area(when it rains,no drains)sunny day and your set.

  • I'm always expecting a big ugly turd monster to pop out and the music to make a terrible SCREEEEEEEEEECH!!

  • i love doing thuis its sosooooooooo fun

  • TMNT?

  • me and a few friends were considering trying draining soon, any tips to give us?

  • ive never gone draining. hooked on warehouses

  • fucking cockroaches.

  • is this illigial?

  • @KevinMinato kinda but not really (at the same time)

  • did you have some kind of weapon with you if there was an animal

  • congratulates the brave, a very good flashlight, smelled strongly? invite me

  • question does anyone know a good drain entrance in new bedford i am not really sure if the drain is big enough to enter please help

  • were you on your own and was this planned or a spur of the moment thing?

  • this music reminds me of waking life :)

  • exploring drains is quite fun, but you don't want to be in there when it starts raining

  • oh god , why dont you people go look in a storm drain on your own sometime , i tend to do it for a hobbie , and its quite interesting seeing some drains from the 60's and 70's

  • Someones fucking brave :O

  • how deep into the drain did you go?

  • oohhh mister hanky were are u!!

  • @Alexeriks1I'm pretty sure that's not a snake, it's a ripple of water, because snakes don't vanish into thin air, unless they're ghost snakes, at which time you might want to avoid planes for a while

  • @Alexeriks1

Hey, for all we know, he could have found Nazi Gold in there.

  • @Alexeriks1 Wasn't expecting anything, but you won't know for sure until you try. What do you expect to see on the moon except for a vast expanse of craters and rocks? Well some people still want to go there anyways, cuz we think it's cool and worth a closer look. You might learn something you didn't before if you see things first hand. Where would we be if everyone always said "There's probably nothing interesting there"? That's what exploration is to me maybe exploration is different to you.

  • did you get lost at any point?

  • 2:08 PENIS

  • I did this when I was a kid with my buds. Glad it never stormed.

  • hey your trespassing ! and hey how the fuck did you get in / out.. actually lay down under the grate or what ?

  • Could you send me the name of the music used in this video or even the artist, I would really appreciate it.

  • @Faustesh it sounds like anton piazolla to me, but not a tune of his I'm familiar with.

  • This music is pretty tight.

  • It's all fun and games until a storm comes when you're a mile from the exit.

  • Going in underground drains is a "confined space" and confined spaces can have a lack of oxygen. The workers never go down without ventilation...a supply of fresh air. Being in confined spaces can be deadly. Never go into confined spaces without a supply of fresh air.

  • i myself have gone to a drain tunnel not far though before i was scared shitless but i plan to go down there again because of your video! thank you!

  • Did you know where you were when you got to the end? :O

  • Only done draining once. Shit meself as it was that tight.

There was a big group of us and all we could see were the feet of the guy in front and the head of the one behind.

  • Ive heard of water main breaks, a knocked off fire hydrant or even a flash flood rushing down without warning. ive even seen a fuel tanker strike and knock off a fire hydrant and loose all the entire load of fuel into a storm drain (more than one time). by the looks of that storm drain it looked pritty clean and thats useually becouse a very large amount of water flowed through it, not even the sighn of rats??? think before you enter next time. i say this becouse i work for an underground Co.

  • What's the soundtrack?

  • is it true that storm drains often intersect with cave systems/natural caverns? That's what I was told.

  • is it true that storm drains often intersect with cave systems/natural caverns? That's what I was told.

  • is it true that storm drains often intersect with cave systems/natural caverns? That's what I was told.

  • awesome.

  • Looks like a nice backbreaker.

  • Doesn't the air get thin in there? I would hate to suddenly collapse and suffocate due to lack of air.

  • @OwnedOver9000 Yes, the air can get thin in some areas, if you start to feel lightheaded, it might be a good idea to move.

  • @BxN4 take a mining safety lamp with you, when it goes out you know your running out of air

  • @OwnedOver9000 that would suck to faint in a pile of crap

  • @OwnedOver9000

You also have to watch out for weakened structures, loose scaffolding, local "wildlife", perhaps a hobo/rapist...

And then there's the part where this may not be considered legal in certain situations.

  • you know what would really suck, if you got lost, stuck and cant find your way out, or like it suddenly drops, be careful bro

  • There is poop and pee down there eeeuuuw

  • Ew, no. I LOVE urban exploring, but I have a crippling phobia of roaches and I know that gigantic groups of them live in the sewers. Eugh... *shivers*

  • thats kinda dangerous :D

  • cool

  • I'm gonna try draining soon, i found a drain that looks suitable but in teh night im gonna have to figure out how big it is and stuff and get a closer look. wish me luck! :D I'll try and document it :]

  • I remember exploring subway tunnels when i was a kid. GREAT VIDEO

  • So, how often is the drainage pipe you're in checked?

  • Yeah draining isnt my favourite either... Hate being on my nees at the pipes around my area :P The abandoned are the best :D

  • Suddenly, a flash flood appears

  • @cheese9684756985 human used shield! It's not very effective.

  • theres a pipe i want to explore with my freinds but in side of it it gets really cold do you know why or has this happend to you

  • @1LEGOhaloguy

Its because your under ground more than likely and out of the sun

  • pretty boring drain

  • I would be terrified of running into Keith Flint down there....

  • 1:54 omg he found the evidence to the murder I-I mean what murder =P

  • *flashlight dies*

  • so stupid the abandoned building thing is cool.. but been in constriction for years and you have no idea the precautions we take before entering atunnel or below ground.. I saw one where some guys wanted to get to a location through sewers and half they were like im feeling sick.. Well acorse you fuking idiots! there methane in there! No idea but its the chance you guys like taking I like to se you guys play russian roulette!

  • @zentetsu32 "idiot" like somehow they would magically know how to do it thus display a lack of intellectual _capacity_ as opposed to mere _ignorance_ which is different than "idiot".

  • @zentetsu32 Why wouldn't you tell them where they could learn to do it correctly?

  • What was the snake thing at 2:20 ?

  • I've been doing this since I was a kid, it's something you just do when you're a kid with no where to go. Mine don't just lead to ends like that though.

  • I have to agree to your insanity. I looked like the drain connected with a large body of water which means it could drown. Of course there are those ladders to whatevers up there. I do like your videos i've never been "Draining" before.

  • you guys are insane this thing can fill up with water in like 1minute and you could get lost down these things man nice vid tho lol

  • Great video!! This used to be a hobby of mine when I was a kid. Is extremely dangerous. But FUN!!!

  • @Starbuckin how is it dangerous, me and my friends are gonna go this weekend. I know the rain is important to keep in mind but what else? Thanks

  • Draining is fun, but gota be carefull around anytime with rain.

  • I'd really love to do this, but there aren't any abandoned houses here. there are some villas that it would be awesome to go into, but they are not disowned and I bet there's alarm systems.

As a kid I used to ask to go to the bathroom during ballet class and explore the corridors in the dark. thrilling!

  • i want to get into this

  • i think it would be much much more interesting with all the real sounds left, dripping water and very echo'ish footsteps in da pipez

  • Indeed, I tried to include a lot more of that in my other draining video.

  • I still need to go draining. :-/

  • nice vid but if you are really in to this stuff you should go to stockholm underground it's SICK! THERE you can find dead guys and shit plus its REEALLY large i mean miles (europeian do not know how it is in usa ) tunnel you can explore theres all kind shit down there like beds chairs panic rooms explosive boxes once it probebly have more they found one of there freinds down there dead fild with conrete i think it was he had stuck in a hole or something i wouldnt be supriced if you found a ikea

  • This is awesome i used to do this until one day it wasnt cloudy or anything me and my friends were in way far and it went through a draining cycle. It got really hot than we hear WHOOSH of all the water flowing and we ran for our lives

  • Try infiltration!

  • what ever you do, DONT LOOK UP.

all that crap draining down will go in your mouth, nose, and face.

    Just a little tip.

  • I can't wait in two weeks I'm going to a drain called brick titen in Colorado 4 miles long first mile is heroin shooters and hobos then just open drain baby also going into a place that has a constant security gaurd we have to sneak in the window on the 3rd story haha

  • I would be afraid of getting lost.

  • @Scurvyyyy you can always mark your way where you turn :)

  • Would be funny if he found a dead guy.

  • snake

  • sick video,nice 1

  • is tath at montreal????

  • Non, une ville à l'ouest.

  • bro i saw it too! what the hell was that?

  • deep drain holy crap

  • certainly looks like something!! O_O!

  • nice video. i have a few storm drain videos. check em out.

  • i'd love to urban eplore things , but im too claustrophobic for that.

  • how do you not get caught doing this stuff? my friend went to jail cuz he was caught doing this stuff

  • Was he making a lot of noise? It's very hard to get caught, he must've been really unlucky. I heard you can get out of it if in your defense you say how the drains are public property, which indeed they are.

  • nope he showed me the tape of his exploration. he got arrested cuz the cop said he was trespassing but i went to the place after he got busted and it wasnt fenced off or anything

  • Assholes, we have to pay our taxes for those fucking pipes, so we should be allowed to use them!

  • @MisterHolaMan

Okay, then don't bitch when you hurt yourself down there, and no one comes to get your rotting, stinking corpse after you die.

Also, do we other citizens get to sue you if you fuck something up down there and ruin our water/sewage/electricity/fiber optics/gas? Will you have the money to cough up in court to repair that shit? We're in an economical crisis ATM.

I understand the desire to poke around in these places, but I don't think YOU understand the dangers....

  • There's nothing down there to fuck up. And I don't mind the risk.

  • @i8246i You're joking, right? A storm-drain is used to carry water from gutters out to creeks and whatnot. There's no conceivable way that we could ruin "water/sewage/electricity/fiber optics/gas" in there. You really have no clue what you're talking about.

And I like your misuse of "economical."

  • impresionnant tunnel! but the music its notgood :(

  • Would be crappy if you didn't find your way back

  • you turn sround and walk the way u came not that hard

  • man this looks exciting, i would really like to get into this but i dont think that any of my friends would be down for this

  • Why not? What's cooler than seeing the inside of everything?

  • i guess you're right nothings cooler than that

  • Shut up Zack, it's pretty obvious it won't collapse.

  • drains are round for a reason think about it they are round so they wont collaopse

  • I'm pretty sure he was just joking. He's a friend outside of YouTube.

  • yeah lol ive never heard of a drain collapseing so why wouldi t collapse when he was in there

  • Watch out for vampires. That's how they get around during the day. ;)

  • yea idk i find exploring drains is fucking freaky :P i guess i always think imma get lost or trapped

but i love exploring abandoned places, so cool sum of the stuff u can find

  • I've always wanted to do that! Looks like a lot of fun. I would probably be scared to go by myself.

  • It's really dangerous to go by yourself anyway, but don't go in a horde or you could get caught.

  • If you know the drain, its really not all that dangerous. I went to HS in a small town, and in grade twelve I would go visit the same bit of pipe on my spare, just to read and hang out.

  • haha me and my friends go sewer exploring all the time in L.A.

    its really fun.

but we go with like 7 or 8 guys so its not that creepy.

  • how long did you walk before you turned around

  • dont go in the beach ones!!! those the tide comes up and u get trapped!!

  • awsome!!!

you should explore those little splits that you found too.

  • this is amazing.! 5/5

  • this is the music from a movie called Waking Life isnt it? its very beautiful what is it

  • I've never seen the movie Waking Life, so I'm not sure, but the song is "Constriction, by Joe Hisaishi"

  • This is a very good video.

Though when you look up the man hole in the beginning you could have been looking up a bit longer, it goes away to fast

  • Thanks for the compliment, it means a lot to me, and criticism too. I agree, I should've taken a longer shot of it.
