stupid dogfight - w/out tactics or anymore, no group flights - nothing - just dogfight for kill stealer, training - it would better to switch off all marks at server - then to see how these guys would fly and identify them on map. so: LOL video!

good thing you can do this with mouse, i played orbiter the other day, its all controlled by buttons you see on screen, crashed after 10 seconds, and once bevore take off, i accedently pulled the gear in... whoops..

Just wondering, why do all these spitfires have clipped wingtips?? I dont like them =( is there a way to chose the normal ones? id take better turn rate over roll rate heh

Yeah, in 1946 there are both types they should be above the Spitfire XXX (CW)

oh, so ill be able to choose weather my Spitfire Mk IX has clipped wingtips or not? i was looking them up, and i saw that some spitfires had 4 50 cals and 2 20mms. Can i use the normal wings with that one ?

4 50's? where did you get that from! LOL! A mark IXc had 4x 303.cal and 2x 20mm, the Mark VIII CW seen in the vid had the same, a mark IXe had 2x 50.cal and 2x20mm. And with all the spitfires in the game, you can use full wing.

Hm, i found this thing for IL2, it had a page of all the planes, and it had a spitfire Mk. IX and it said its weapons were 4 50s and 2 20mm hispanos. Guess it was wrong heh.

Look for Hyperlobby in google, and download and install that, make sure your IL-2 is 1946 patched to 4.08m

when I did play this game about a year ago, everytime when I would take a steep dive/dive my screen would turn red then I would lose control then crash and burn...:(

When you push down on the stick on a aircraft in real life, The blood goes to the head. And your vision goes red. This is negative G forces acting on your body. On some planes, The faster they go. The less manourvable the become. And they become hard to turn and pitch

Yes and No. Hyperlobby is a program which allows you to talk in a lobby for certain games such as Il-2, Lock On, and so on, And also join there games. Its basically where all the major servers for Il-2 are hosted.

actually cipher, that "killstealer" in 04:40 was not a killstealer, he was a shouldershooter ;-o but it's almost the same thing, all of them are scum! too bad i haven't been able to fly online(adsl-modem blocks il2 or something) but i'm working on it! Wish to see you up in the skies again ^-~

The use of flaps when making tight turns really helps out sometimes. To make the turns even tighter while banking set the flaps to full and reduce power a little, then gun the engine, then reduce power again. Repeat until you've got on their six.
