I have been to Thailand for a month and over there Porsche and other exotic cars or bikes is tax so much only the very rich or non thai can afford them, Thats why you see a lot of scooters and nothing bigger than 200cc on the roads. Example a typical BMW motorcycle cost over there $1.2Million THB or $39,639.69 Australian dollars so you can only image how much for a exotic car but in saying that BMW and Mercs are everywhere and most hi power bikes are in Pattaya.

@FatPigCypris I think the're looking because it's been made into a taxi, and there are video cameras recording it. I live about 500 metre for the Ferri club hangout, a highend beachside hotel. I've seen half a dozen lined up on the freeway about to race back to Bangkok, 250km away. Also, the shopping centre they are outside of has 4 or 5 luxury sports car 'shops' in there. Everything US$250k+++ Many Rich People = Many Rich Toys!
