@1958wvpicker Thank you Rich. My you tube name was from my black dog named Raven and when she was a pup (no name yet) in the white snow, I thought...um " Raven " A Native American singer/songwriter named Bill Miller had a song called "Raven in the Snow" So snowraven7 became my name. I am proud of my Native heritage. This is fun song to cover.
@muir66 Ewan MacColl is actually Kirsty's father.I had mentioned that in the description, so I wasn't sure That I understood your comment...(.non?) Thanks for watching anyways.
@thomassneade Thanks for the comment. I haven't been doing too much lately. I do plan on catching up and watching your new vids. You two are sounding better and better. Dylan is my favorite of all time. I enjoy the mandolin added to your covers. Take care,
Nice cover! My wife and I I bashed it out with guitar and mandolin....I think that I need a new head though, because the one that I've got won't sing in tune!!
@thomassneade Thanks for sending that video. Very nice sound! I thought the mandolin sounded just fine! I have been looking at some of your video's and have enjoyed everything I have seen. Keep up the good work!!

Nice video! What a great old tune. I didn't get what you meant about at first about the chords moving LOL. Sometimes they move on me while I'm playing them but I see what you mean. I've gotten around YT's tendency to do that by putting it in Word first, then copying into YT. Seems to better preserve the format that way. Cheers!
@snowraven7, 5 miles from me lived a soccer legend who played for my team his name was Jimmy Johnstone or Jinky as he was known even the great Pele was a fan of his. Jinky recorded this song with Simple Minds the 80's rock band nnot lobg before he died.
@Sunambra It must have been quite an honor to have known him. I found the video with Jinky and Simple Minds singing "Dirty old Town". I faved it. They did a great version. Thanks for sharing that story. I may have never known otherwise.
