This was at California. The players there were all American...or other races. This (Wi-Fi Wars)was hosted so U.S.A players got a first play on Brawl before it was released here. These weren't Japanese players.

Good match. I've played a lot of Lucario vs Ike, and I found that Double Team is pretty useful against Ike's slow moves.

Whoever was lucario really needs to learn how to use him. use his lightweight and good recovery to take some damage in the begining and just let lose when you've hit about 90 percent. also, when you've got a low percent use your A moves and get close range to deal damage and take damage. Also, while your down B is a very good move don't relie on it to much and dont let youreself get so close to ike when you've got such a igh percentage, use your B and side B moves. Good job though

Hmm, really, there isn't a correct way to play anyone. I'd recommend a lot more short hop-down airs... As for Ike, try that fading eruption (dash to eruption, mash the opposite direction).

Lucario's real tight. Deceptive hitboxes, pretty nice aerials, solid recovery, and pretty nice throws. He's not too bad. His only issues are his lightweight, his attacks not reaching their full potential until reaching higher levels of damage, and slow smashes. But either way he's really cool.  He's my main in Brawl.

yea that probably would have been ike's B/1-right attack but i guess that would be really cheap lol. aether can barely move him over for a recovery so i guess thats why they didnt put it. either way Ike still pwns everyone, tis my 2nd favorite Fire Emblem character

omg i just thought of an amazing stage! Imagine a place with no floors. all you do is fall constantly with the camera following you and you have to do arial combat to kill them. You can't fall on your own because the camera sort of follows you down. you move with directional influence while falling and you can jump as many times as you want!

Mewtwo wasn't all that great anyway. Lucario's Aura powers are obviously superior to that of Mewtwo. I'm still mad Lucario lost.

Mewtwo should have been in Brawl. He's iconic to Pokemon, way more popular and the fact that he was in Melee should have sealed it there. The least they could have done was make him an alternate costume.

This was a good match. It would've been a lot more even had Lucario not SD'd at the begininning. Ike is a powerhouse, but Lucario has his fair share of tricks.

Ike is quite slow to recover with...but he's ridiculously powerful. He can KO enemies with 1-2 charged Smash Attacks from 0%. Yeah, he'll be a challenge to use compared to newcomers Pit and Meta Knight...
