The more I hear this the better it seems! Even by Emmylou's standards this is out of this world. Also it reminds me more than anything of the famous Jan Van Eyck painting of the Arnolfini Wedding Portrait. The same luminous tranquillity and purity. Thanks so much for finding it!

Such a beautiful cover. It transcends genres and time...from the McCartney's hand to Emmylou in 1979. Brian Ahern's guitar is flawless and the end of the song pulls my heart from my chest.

The concert was Aug 4, 1979. Emmylou delivered her daughter Meghann Sep 9, 1979. There's a great video on Youtube of George and  Little Feat playing "Dixie Chicken" accompanied by Emmylou and Bonn Raitt.
