@kennywowie You are correct. Before computers, one way to make cartoons was to separate the story to many different glass plates. Some were changing faster than the others.

I dont think its a bad video at all.. sync wasnt perfect but it was still bloody great to watch, i love these ol cartoons because they are so refreshingly surreal and devoid of all the sexual iinnuendo and violence tolday. Its pity this wasnt the benchmark for most of the shite put up here.

it works because it'l like when you are having E, and you started out your trip waiting for the effects of the E while watching something silly. As soon as you start feeling something you put on spacy music like this and the silly cartoon stays without sound. Well that how we did it anyway :p

But it DOES kinda go together. Certain parts where the music changes direction it matches the change of events in the Popeye. Case in point, beginning when birdflies, 0:50, 1:21, 5:33 are just a few,,,,good job!

True, the cartoon and music weren't meant to go together. Nonetheless Islanderview, I think this is an excellent video choice for this track. The connection can be interpreted in many different ways, eh I have my own I won't bother to explain. Tangerine Dream is amazing, this is one of their best songs.
